“TRANSCEND THE WAY OF DECEPTION, INTO THE PROFOUND WORLD.”

The foolishness, shallowness, arrogance, or whatever else of mind or ego aren’t related with the mind or ego of anyone in particular. And moreover, they can never represent anyone, the person itself.

They are merely an aspect that is common to all people’s minds and egos, are merely tools to discover a fact that they are just the illusion people think they are, and also comprehend about the true nature itself within.

Therefore, if one despises someone’s foolishness, for instance, as something peculiar to that person, that is nothing but the ego itself, which dislikes the ego.

Likewise, the sense of superiority, such as ‘I know’ or ‘I am capable,’ all emanates from the ego.

There is no essence there at all.

By sincerely inquiring oneself in detail to meet and comprehend the true nature, by continuing to observe oneself as the Consciousness itself moment by moment, and by always remaining firmly detached from identification with mind, ego, body, etc., one can clearly see and comprehend that the various things that appear before one’s eyes, whether they are from within or from others, are merely the projections of the mind. And because of this comprehension, one no longer reacts fundamentally to any event.

The mind, however, only tries to use its intelligence to understand, or think it understands, various things, and when it tries to act like a sage, for instance, only a completely different from that of the sage.

For instance, ‘not reacting’ is not as the natural state of the sage which is the manifestation of a fundamental and spontaneous change due to the comprehension of the Truth, but merely self-control. Thus, it is only possible not to react when being aware. This means, in other words, that while one is unconscious, which accounts for about 90% or more of one’s awareness, one cannot, of course, use that self-control.

Here, those who are in identification with the mind or ego are often discouraged by themselves as such.

But this approach is, so to speak, nothing more than a childish trick, a cheap trick, and even if it temporarily fools oneself somewhat, in the end it will never lead to a genuine and fundamental change.

What is important is next step.

When people realize that this childish trickery does not work, and when they still cannot stand the foolishness of the ego, some of them move toward the state of being of “taking a ‘so-what’ attitude,” or the ‘pessimistic’ state, or etc.

But while these may seem like a change of stage, in fact they are merely parallel shifts, and they are still in the same dual world of the same mind.

In fact, it is here that one is being asked whether or not one will truly long to transcend the great wall of hard emotional pain caused by self-inquiry (pain caused by the illusion of identification with mind or ego).

No one can arrive at the core, essence without truly transcending this invisible hurdle. This means, in other words, that in order to truly comprehend (savor) the essence, there is no other way but to go through some hard suffering.

Anyone must be prepared to do so.

However, when one truly transcends by going through that suffering, when one can clearly see all the illusions one has experienced up to that point, the ‘complete freedom’ one can experience will bring a sense of great relief that is beyond description.

All one needs is at least three things: a safe place, the ability to truly trust that a higher self far beyond the mind and ego, can guide oneself out of that illusion, and the courage and determination to sincerely face oneself with humility.

Having said that, it never means that it’s important whether these can be done or not.

What happens happens because it has to happen. Everything is inevitable. Even if one has to take a break to recharge one’s energy, the important is not to resist anything, not to run away from any part of oneself, and be present.

For anyone, it’s only oneself who can transcend the world of the mind to comprehend and savor the true nature and the truth. (OM 🙏)
