“Directly face yourself as you are.”

“DIRECTLY FACE YOURSELF AS YOU ARE.”

When directly facing yourself as you are, the important thing is to observe yourself carefully without concealment.

Observation cannot be done by the mind, but by the Consciousness that transcends the mind. The Mind can watch yourself with judgement, such as good or bad, reflecting the times or society, but it cannot observe the essence as it is.

If it’s not done by the Consciousness but by the mind, it is clearly watching with the judgement, usually brought the pain and suffering into you, and the mind reflexively tries to avoid the situation and comes to be unable to move on further, after all.

Because, while we identify with the mind or body, we try to control ourselves through ‘watching’ that involves ‘judgement’ whether we are right or wrong, done or not done, etc. It’s because the major indicator being whether we as an individual fit well enough into society, whether we are worthy, etc.

If we continue to do this, we will inevitably move toward a point where we cannot endure the tension and suffering associated with it.

It is only after this phase that true ‘observation’ by the Consciousness begins, but even after this phase, the person stops watching oneself as a way of avoiding suffering, instead, sometimes moves to only watching others.

Perfection in this preliminary phase of true ‘observation’ by the Consciousness is synonymous with ‘completeness’ within an idealistic world, where there is no possibility of an unknown far beyond the world known to the mind, and thus a grossly biased ‘distortion’ far from true ‘perfection’ in the nondual-world is the substance.

Next, when one is able to reach a point where is a perspective that far transcends the mind, natural and pure ‘observation’ becomes possible. And so the beginning enters a phase where observation and unconsciousness (ego) are mixed.

This is because even if we are able to be a state of the perspective that transcends the mind, the unconscious does not instantly and completely disappear. The unconscious is the part of our conscious that is said to account for more than 90%, and during this unconscious period, of course, we cannot consciously make observations.

The mind loves to think that spiritual awakening occurs within a moment, and that in that moment it becomes fully awakened, but in truth, the spiritual awakening to deepen, it is necessary to remain in the state of living moment to moment, far beyond the mind’s imagination, and with the Consciousness itself.

And in fact, even as we begin to awaken spiritually, we go through phases of going back and forth between spiritual awakening and sleep. This spiritual sleep, in other words, is the unconsciousness (ego), where the ignorance and arrogance of the ego, of course, lurks.

Those who are deepening further spiritual awakening spontaneously and consciously give priority to being with inner stillness, which gradually leads them away from the unconscious and to be able to come more extensive and frequent true ‘observation’ by the Consciousness.

This will inevitably deepen spiritual awakening, of course.

This true ‘observation’ by the Consciousness is actually synonymous with meditation, and the more natural it becomes, like breathing, the more it becomes possible to observe, for instance, even while sleeping.

When observation becomes natural means that meditative living becomes natural, and inevitably the moments of unconsciousness (ego) are reduced.

It means that the more true ‘observation’ by the Consciousness increases, the lesser room there is for judgment by the mind as a natural consequence.

In this way, directly facing yourself as you are, by being sublimated from the suffering and pain caused by the mind’s watching into the true observation by the Consciousness, becomes a blessing that brings pure new awareness, and a moment to be blissfully celebrated.🙏🌈✨
