“CONTINUE PRACTICING SELF-OBSERVATION.”
Self-observation is essential when living in the ‘here and now.’ Without self-observation, you cannot become aware of, let alone let go of, patterns of unawareness that keep you from deepening your awakening, such as, within an unconscious, ignorance, arrogance, ego, interpretations of things that keep from the past, and resistance.
No one can let go of what one does not recognize to exist.
The key to self-observation is to be a pure observer. To remain completely pure, without any judgment or interpretation.
At the beginning, it can be at the end of the week, or at the end of the day. Take time to observe only of your own words and actions. This observation may include the words and actions of others, but only in order to know your own reactions. This is because the other person’s words and actions that trigger your reactions are, in other words, merely interpretations by your mind, and are nothing more than an illusion.
Continue practicing this pure self-observation gradually, in the morning and afternoon, every two hours, every half hour, and then all the time, and make a habit.
This is not so much an effort to reduce time, but rather, this means, when you realize what longing of true nature is that you truly awake and living and you begin self-observation, you realize that only through this pure self-observation can make you visible your own unconscious, and so it spontaneously leads you to increase self-observation.
The important to remember is that to be a pure observer, you need to be away from the mind.
At first, a quiet environment may be necessary.
However, when identification with the mind or anything other than your true nature is strong, it is easy to turn your attention to ‘doing’ something, the ego intoxicatedly loves yourself ‘doing’ something, and it becomes difficult you to become aware of it and to also stop doing it.
That said, the more you become familiar with self-observation as a pure observer, the easier can it become aware and let go of it as well.
As this constant, pure self-observation becomes a true habit, and being in the present moment, with inner stillness, becomes the highest priority, the visible things that might bother you before will become less and less to bother you, and only the ultimate reality of the peaceful ‘now’ is present.
Thus the spiritual nondual world becomes only the world that is truly lived as the ultimate reality.🙏🌈✨
