“TRUST IN THE UNCERTAIN PROCESS.”
The most accurate spiritual sage, the one who responds to you whenever you need, is pure awareness, non-self, that transcends the mind(ego) and sees everything as it is, without any judgment.
No matter how much correct knowledge you acquire, no matter how great the sages you gather under in your time, or no matter how sacred the books you read, unless you turn inward deeply, far detach yourself from all comparisons and judgments made by the mind (ego), and clearly see the reality of your present self as awareness (the clarity of innermost stillness), true enlightenment and natural liberation will never occur.
It never gives instructions in words, criticizing based on value judgments of good or evil, or praising.
However, at the moment of seeing through the facts of oneself by the awareness—even if the insight into oneself at that moment is trivial (unconscious assumptions, beliefs, misrecognition about very existence (ignorance), etc.), the moment these are revealed—the illusions illuminated by the light of clarity vanish.
In this way, liberation as a spiritual awakening always inevitably occurs, without any effort or intention on the part of the personal “I.”
Ultimate spiritual awakening is precisely the awakening from the misconception that the “I,” a thought constructed from assumptions, memories, and interpretations of experiences, is the Self, and it means, from the misperception that one is a being tossed about by various situations within that world of thought (a victim oppressed or hindered from happiness by the world and others).
In this way, it is through the complete collapse of the illusory world one had believed in that until then, and the realization that awareness, which has been ever-present and observed everything, is actually The Self, that it as itself finally and freely begins to touch the raw reality of life.
Phenomena are always impermanent, neither good nor bad.
Experiences always manifest through interconnectedness and interrelatedness, but when they are misperceived (interpreted) in various ways by the mind(ego, thought), attachment to them as personal experiences arises.
The content of these experiences differs even among those present in the same place, and it is particularly noteworthy that interpretations and projections by the mind (ego) are always illusions far removed from the raw reality.
This is because, under the identification with thought the mind, ego), various unconscious assumptions and biases unavoidably influence that interpretation. Conversely, it is precisely because of this that truly profound spiritual awakening can be happened by seeing one-present-self as it is of now.
On the other hand, truth is an “unknown” far beyond the imagination of the mind (ego), and any secondhand knowledge or speculation by the mind (ego) is completely off the mark; the mind (ego) cannot even touch a fragment of truth.
Therefore, simply believe in the process, which can never be compared.
For example, carefully see through each of these things: what you are resisting, what you are clinging to, what you are desperately seeking, and why, and after all, what exactly it is that is seeking the enlightenment, etc.
Because, ultimately, the flow of time is merely an illusion, and neither others nor the world exist apart from thought.
Looking at it from a different perspective, there is no “I” that needs to be changed, no one who can be saved by others, and no world that needs to be changed, anywhere.
Conclusion: Awareness merely misperceives The Self; there is no such thing as the personal “I-self” divided from consciousness itself, from the wholeness as openness. (OM 🙏)
