“Everything is always meant to be.”

“Everything is always meant to be.”

“EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE.”

Through self-observation and self-inquiry by the clarity of innermost stillness, and purely seeing reality of what is, facts, the personal reality of “I-self” or the world as it truly is, from a perspective that transcends all judgments and unconscious biases of the ego, one ultimately comes to see through that within the human perspective, there is an undeniable fact of complete “unconsciousness” and “ignorance,” but that this is neither personal nor representative of individual capabilities, but rather a purely unavoidable innocence.

Furthermore, it becomes clear that no matter how much effort one puts into it, as long as this “unconscious (which accounts for over 90% of human consciousness)” exists, even in the life of a single individual, perfectly realizing one’s ideal is impossible.

This is exactly the same even in the collective efforts of all humanity striving towards an ideal.

Because, how each individual becomes aware of their own “unconscious” or how long are truly infinite varieties, and sometimes, one may even overlook some of them throughout their entire life. Moreover, noticing these things does not make anyone superior to those who do not: in fact, there are always many things that are obvious to others but that we ourselves are merely unaware of, nevertheless, the mind (ego) as identification with thinking can simply veil of the fact by thinking as if “it can see everything,” that is undeniably clear and always present.

Furthermore, this personal “self,” the isentification with the mind (ego), due to its misperception of “separation,”’is unconsciously driven by the need to become someone special, constantly comparing itself to others and, for better or worse, thinking to be “special.”

Of course, there is absolutely no such intention; on the contrary, although they always strive to be a good person and do good for others, however, these efforts are ultimately amount to nothing more than self-righteous and arrogance-in other words, self-centered and dogmatic.

Thus, the overwhelming sense of powerlessness and despair felt every time uselessness of the mind (ego) is clear inevitably, finally leads to the ultimate and complete surrender of the personal “self” to unknown.

In the face of undeniable facts, one, in the end, completely comes to surrender the sense of personal self.

At the moment of bowing down before the fact that “there is nothing this ‘I’ can,” and embracing the reality as it is, neither the world the mind (ego) sees had desperately fought to realize the ideal, sometimes had accused against, and felt anger, nor “I-self” that had continuously strived to be a better and ideal human being, vanishes silently and without a trace, and then, before eyes, there is the quiet, perfect, and raw reality of “now.”

Besides, for example, it is revealed that…

  • In this abundant, raw “reality” of what is, where always what is necessary for each individual is recognized with perfect timing, not only that, there is no separation, division anywhere, of course no good or no evil, no “I (others)” to correct, and even no need to become someone special.
  • Although phenomena simply appear and disappear, impermanently, the personal “I” refuses to accept reality as it is, resisting against what is with the thought, “This should be something else,” and clinging to that thought.
  • The strong belief that the personal “I” is real existence and stemming from the misperception of “separation,” and this identification with the thought of “I,” are none other than the greatest obstacle to truth.

Thus, when the walls of “unconsciousness” and “ignorance” are spontenaously removed through surrender personal “self” to the unknown in the face of stern but undeniable facts without intention and effort, the unchanging light that has always been there effortlessly starts to shine brightly.

Strictly speaking, the influence of the “unconscious” and “ignorance” is immeasurable, requiring continuous practice. However, basically, emotions and thoughts continue to appear and disappear as before, experiences are recognized through their interconnectedness and interrelatedness, and insights into necessary matters continue with perfect timing, but there is no longer a “self” to protect or change; there are no personal possessions of the “self.” All that exists is an ever-open, ever-present, unchanging consciousness, pure existence, awareness.

This is not about excluding or suppressing specific emotions, thoughts, or experiences. It’s about fully experiencing all emotions but no longer being consumed by any emotions as a personal “self,” also allowing thoughts to simply appear and disappear, and without attaching labels of “happiness” or “unhappiness” to any experiences, nor clinging to any particular way of being or state. It’s purely beingness completely to remain free, let everything as what is, impermanence as it is.

And, as has always been the case, the clarity of the innermost stillness as awareness simply continues to witnesses everything (the same one world: the impermanent world of the surface and the unchanging world of the depths) in its purest form. (OM 🙏)
