“WHAT IS ENLIGHTENMENT (TRUTH)?”

Enlightenment is a profound, experiential, direct and immediate wisdom by awareness—that is, transcendent, immediate comprehension of truth far exceeding secondhand knowledge, past experiences and their interpretations, or speculation. It is neither a post-hoc, intellectual, or conceptual interpretation (only developed in the mind) nor a ritualistic hypnotic (suggestion).

Furthermore, it cannot be guaranteed by anything given by any authority.

It is neither religion, nor academic philosophy, nor even any fixed state.

The Truth, no matter how much it is verbalized, collapses the moment it is verbalized.

Because the truth is non-dual in the first place and unaffected by any linguistic dualism, and because the expressive truth is free to be potentially interpreted in various ways, which is impossible to prevent, depending on the degree of openness of the listener or reader (this “infinite possibility” is the essence of non-dual truth).

Furthermore, the raw reality (the truth) is constantly changing and never remains still.

Enlightenment, no matter how much the seeker pursues it, slips away the more they chase it.

Because the seeker that thinks is chasing it is in fact enlightenment (the truth) itself.

A shadow can never grasp the shadow itself.

Awareness realizing the truth, can speak about the mind (ego, thought) or the non-duality (oneness) of truth, but it never judges (compares) others (including itself) or speak based on such judgments (comparisons).

Furthermore, no intention or effort to indoctrinate others can ever arise based on that profound and direct wisdom of the truth.

This is because, fundamentally, the truth does not exist in such duality; therefore, in the raw reality, there is no longer separation of “self and other.”

No matter what form or state a person may be in the present moment, awareness always quietly sees both the Self (truth, permanence), which transcends far from the individual, and the ego that claims its ownership and doership of thought, emotions, and experiences (temporary, impermanent), which all of the latter merely appear and disappear in the field of consciousness like clouds in the sky.

There is no such thing as a single path of enlightenment (the truth) for the awareness to realize itself.

Nor is there anyone who attains enlightenment. (OM 🙏)
