Truth does not depend on knowledge (words)”

“TRUTH DOES NOT DEPEND ON KNOWLEDGE (WORDS)”

Neither truth, nor peace, nor love can be known through knowledge alone; because of “ignorance”—which knowledge cannot change—the awareness naturally cannot live out these things.

If it were possible to grasp them through knowledge, simply creating educational materials would suffice.

Yet, reality is far from that. And moreover, throughout human history, countless people have spoken of truth, peace, or love. Despite this, not only the listeners but even those who possess such knowledge often compete over who knows more, or—claiming to have spotted an error in another—disparage and quarrel with one another.

Or, even if there is no outward conflict, if one is trapped in such thinking (identified with it—which is another form of suffering), one cannot only not claim to know the truth directly, but still remains as the same ignorance.

These facts alone make it clear that truth, peace, or love can never be realized through knowledge alone; something deeper is required.

Nevertheless, the mind persists in resisting reality as it is, insisting like, “it is because some people lack correct knowledge” or blaming others like, “it is those ego-ridden individuals who fail to use knowledge properly.”

Yet, such assertions or resistance come from same ego, identification with mere thought, that always focuses on “doing” (often adding more and judging), that is, the outward, while remaining indifferent toward “being” (how one is now), that is, the inward.

The raw reality that the ego resists in this way is merely a succession of fleeting phenomena—temporary events that arise inevitably, in other words, things happen naturally, just as they should, as the result of a convergence of conditions far beyond the mind’s imagination. In truth, there is no person or thing, as essence that needs to be “corrected.”

In short, phenomena are always non-self.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

People suffer precisely because—whether it be truth, peace, love, compassion, humility, or any other—one can never truly know (live) them through knowledge alone.

And so, they continue to struggle with the ego (thought) and emotions with which they identify—mistaking them for their true selves.

Yet, truth can never be reached through “doing,” nor can its true nature ever manifest through the “doership.”

It is something each individual, as the awareness can recognize deep within themselves only when they let go of all the “doing,” and completely step away from the sense of the “I,” that is, seeing through assumptions of The Self and they are dismantled; it exists nowhere else.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Awareness is a serenity untouched by anything; it exists here and now as a clarity of wholeness, of openness. However, when one cannot listen to (rest in) that innermost stillness, the Awareness cannot know (live) itself.

It is impossible even though it has never once been hidden.

On the contrary, the direct wisdom of truth has been conveyed in various languages, and by diverse sages—and even through ordinary people, still impossible.

The sole gateway and path to truth is only through the pure openness—the clarity of the innermost stillness.

It is a constant silence; while perceiving everything, it makes absolutely no judgments (comparisons) regarding anything, nor does it cling to any (temporary) state of being.

It simply is—here and now—as “IT” which far transcends the “I.”

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

To abide in this clarity of innermost stillness—in the Awareness—is not a matter of sorting or controlling the thoughts and emotions that ceaselessly come and go, nor is it a struggle to suppress them so they do not arise.

It is simply being as immovable stillness—the awareness that recognizes thoughts and emotions merely arising and dissolving within the vast field of that clarity of innermost stillness—without misidentifying them as “me” or “mine” (never identifying with them at all), and moreover, even without pursuing any of the narratives that might unfold from them, and while quietly witnessing everything that comes and goes.
