“THE CLARITY OF THE INNERMOST STILLNESS”
The clarity is used for looking inward, thereby allowing the awareness to observe every detail of existence as what is, such as the workings and reactions of the mind (ego, thought), the workings of consciousness such as the unconscious or the subconscious, and the functions of the body. Through this, it functions to purely comprehend (see through, realize) existence itself, uninfluenced by any comparison or judgment (based on any conventional wisdom, social norm, information, or knowledge).
This leads to a deep comprehension of human existence through indivisibleness of essence, and eventually to the direct “knowledge, wisdom” of non-duality, through the complete absence of the “I” (the absence of doership), that means without any intention, effort, or seeking outward by the “I”.
This clarity is the very pure awareness.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
The Clarity quietly but clearly sees through whether it is essence (the purity of existence) or falsehood (ego, interpretation, projection, etc.). However, it is by no means a judgment of good or evil, nor is it a basis for criticism, nor does it seek any kind of control onto existence through its insight.
The Clarity is completely unaffected by, and requires none of, any authority (titles, achievements, professional qualifications or awards, social recognition, trends of the times, country, religion, etc.).
The Clarity is completely unaffected by preconceived notions such as secondhand knowledge, towards whether unknown or known, and always sees through everything as it is, purely and non-subjectively, without the center.
Furthermore, this clarity is completely unaffected by time or place. Therefore, it is possible to view any event or phenomena, regardless of the time or whether it is the self or others, from various angles and in detail, observing all of them as they are through far beyond the perspective of “I,” and reaching at profound insight.
When an unnecessaryness becomes clear through that insight, surrender occurs spontaneously, meaning that there is no doer performing or striving the surrender. (The absence of “I,” the absence of doership)
This allows for effortless alignment with the non-self (essence).
This is what is called “purification.”
Thus, the clarity of the innermost stillness is the light that illuminates the only path to come to realize itself as non-self, as pure awareness, which is complete openness, and at the same time, it is The Self itself. (Non-duality)
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
We need to see existence as it is, that lives in the present moment, purely through this “clarity of the innermost stillness,” that is accessible to everyone, rather than through control by effort or judgments of good and evil, or assumptions and preconceptions that we are “inadequate beings” requiring punishment or reward (all of them which exist in the head, thought).
Even if there, autonomy, spontaneity, and independency arise temporarily—neither out of obeidience to any authority, nor out of being swept away by the “fear” that arises from the meaninglessness and worthlessness of existence based on habitual, unconscious thinking. However, eventually, its “I” comes to vanish through what the groundlessness (illusion) of it (thought of it as the central entity) is revealed through the clarity, and it leads to the pure awareness of the non-self.
Furthermore, while continuous practice (constant self-observation—that is, existing in the present moment without allowing entire awareness to become completely absorbed in the external world, but always maintaining about 15-30% of awareness directed inward, and upon noticing any identification, fundamentally dismantling it one by one by seeing through the facts—and continuing to abide at non-self that claims ownership of neither experience, thought, emotions, body, nor anything else) is necessary; however, if abiding in this pure awareness, there is no longer any room for any conflict or suffering arising from fundamental misperception of separation.
