“ILLUSION OF DUALITY AS DIVISIVENESS”
No matter how magnificent the “ideal” one pursues may be, it is always a greed for something other than the “now”—an expression of dissatisfaction with and resistance to the raw reality of what is, and an attachment to a mental image of a future that exists only in the mind.
The most important thing is, recognize that this unconscious mind’s (the I’s, ego’s) greed to seek something other than the “now” is inherently a divisive “duality”—a state that unavoidably requires an opposing counterpart through the doing of comparison and judgment.
Furthermore, see through that what gives rise to this duality (which can never resolve into a single state) is none other than what one misperceives to be the “self”—yet is, in fact, merely a “false self,” nothing more than a construct of thought.
And it is the very identification with thought. (OM 🙏)
