“The Moment of Awakening to The Self”

The moment “Awareness” truly recognizes itself as “Awareness” for the first time, the true impersonal “you” will be struck with astonishment. It will realize that what you had previously assumed to be “yourself”—that is, the narrative constantly spun within the mind—was merely capturing phenomena and presumptuously condemning them as a “distorted world” that needed to be changed.

At the same time, it will be aghast to realize that, under the influence of “ignorance” as unconsciousness, thoughts as an misidentification with the mind had been arrogantly condemning “others” and the “world”—entities you viewed as separate from yourself, yet which were in reality nothing more than projections or interpretations of its own thought, and insubstantial illusions—in an attempt to change them.

The very moment the true impersonal you realizes that this “I” was the embodiment of ignorance itself is the moment “Awareness” comes to its pure senses—the moment of awakening. (OM 🙏)
