“THE COURAGE TO CHOOSE.”

Even while it’s hard to believe in yourself, choose to be with those who simply trust the unknown potential within you, who appreciate your being as pure essence, and who close to your heart from the heart, rather than those who give you direct advice (i.e., want to prove their excellence), who is obsessed with getting something from you (i.e., want to fill their own deficiency by others), or who despise you in various ways (i.e., want to gain self-affirmation by putting others down).

It is possible to learn from any person in all respect, but the latter is whom we can build a healthier, deeper, and more mutually, even spiritually enhancing relationship.

For your own sake and for the sake of the other person, always value those mutually enhancing relationships, and keep enough distance from those that do not.

If you do not have someone like the latter, or if you have a relationship in which spiritual learning has come to end, have the courage to be alone once and for all, rather than keep to cheat yourself and keep in that relationship.

And remember the following.

No matter how much you lose faith in yourself, no matter how much it seems that there is no one around you with whom you can build the latter kind of relationship, through the innermost stillness of you, consciousness itself will always close to your heart, and be with you without any judgment.
