“SURRENDER WILLPOWER”
Willpower is power of using the mind and is essential to accomplishing anything. We use it to set goals, make plans to achieve them and of course make it come true, envision the future, etc.
Controlling Ego is also handled by this willpower.
However, when this mind, the conscious mind, thinks “I should do it,”but the subconscious mind does not really want to do it, people usually create a situation where they cannot complete what they once decided to do. This people in such the situation which the subconscious mind created are sometimes described as ‘weak-willed, referring to the image of a person as a ‘a weak-willed person who is defeated by desires,’ but this longs of the subconscious mind belongs to the heart, which is completely different from the desires of the ego, and is called ‘real intention.’ On the other hand, most of the ego is completely unconscious and so impossible to control.
It is actually quite natural that the subconscious mind, which belongs to the heart, moves toward what it really wants (in this case, “I don’t want to”), even if the person is unaware of one’s real intentions. In other words, the heart (subconscious mind) is working to make the person who is unaware of one’s real intentions realize to those real intentions by moving toward a situation in which the person will not or cannot complete the goal.

Most people are so busy trying to live the right and correct way using only their minds out of fear that they forget to listen to their real intentions. Many have even lost sight of where their real intentions are and what they are.
Many people also confuse or misunderstand this real intentions with the emotional and desires of the ego, and so the real intentions are therefore often controlled and ignored by the mind. But real intentions are completely different from ego’s desires.

Trying to live rightly using only this mind may be important for people who want to avoid getting hurt or hurting someone, for instance. Also, the Mind is necessary when accomplishing something.
However, this Mind is always influenced by the unconscious (ego), no matter who we are, and fortunately or unfortunately, no one can avoid the bias caused by the unconscious that distorts our cognition.
Since this mind and unconsciousness (ego) are inseparable, and cognitive bias inevitably occurs due to this unconsciousness, for instance, even if we were to use willpower to prevent this cognitive bias from occurring, we would have to control the unconsciousness, which exceeds approximately 90% of human awareness, with the conscious mind, which makes up less than 10% of human awareness, it is impossible to control it by willpower.
This means that if we live using only the mind, we cannot avoid the occurrence of cognitive bias, and therefore, we cannot truly know ourselves due to this cognitive bias.
This could cause that we would be more and more biased toward willpower and a mind-based way of life, as if spiritual awakening were a far-off world, let alone truly living our real intentions.
Therefore, to get away from the influence of unconscious cognitive bias and to leave from the mind and ego in order to observe the essence of things is actually of tremendous significance, and not just from a spiritual perspective.
What is needed here for anyone is a surrender of willpower.
Willpower is used to control life, and when it is working as envisioned, we tend to have the illusion that we are in control of our own life. However, once the illusion does not develop as envisioned, people tend to keep struggling against something invisible in order to further mobilize their willpower, or they tend to abandon life as if they had lost the battle.
Someday, eventually, there are some people who begin to feel that they have reached a dead end in their life relying only on willpower, and they begin to question the very way they have lived their lives.
Only then, in front of the dead end, does the natural surrender, the most humble form of a person, emerge from within.
In that way, the phase will gradually shift from a world where those people once have lived only with their minds to a world where those people live with their hearts naturally open.

When you change your mind’s choice from “I should do it” to your heart’s choice “I do it” spontaneously, whatever it is, because something come to your heart from deep inside, or finally make sense something, then Surrender as well can be genuine.
This Surrender, like everything else, cannot cause true change until it is genuine. This is because, until it becomes to genuine, the influence of cognitive bias due to unconsciousness is inevitable, as well as the influence of identification oneself with the mind and ego.
Everything genuinely comes functional only in a pure state of being. (OM 🙏)
