“ALL BEINGS, PHENOMENA ARE WITHOUT SELF, NON-SELF.”
Claiming to be the one who does something is merely a claim of interpretation, and it is also nothing more than an attachment to the premise (thought) that “all beings are individually separate.” At the same time, a sense of separation and the anxiety of possibility of not being accepted as existence keep reinforcing the unconscious belief that “there is something missing in me.” And thereby, it becomes also an attachment to a strong desire to “need to change something” or “need something to fill that hole in me.”
The fulfillment of this desire we are unconsciously attached is supported by an illusion as expectation that unconditional permission might be given to continue existing by it.
And that, too, is an attachment to another thought.
In reality, there is no one who is attached, and no one who does anything anywhere.
All there are mere interpretations, assumptions, identification with various thoughts, and attachment to the idea that a personal “I” self exists.
For example, telling people that “we should reject evil and do good” is nothing more than clinging to the belief that “duality is reality,” based on perception of the separation of the personal “I” self, and it is also merely a matter of regarding as the self various arrogant thoughts that expect recognition of some sort of significance in the existence.
In other words, we believe that “I will not be recognized unconditionally unless I somehow prove my worth.”
But there is no one there either.

60,000 to 90,000 thoughts come and go in a day.
Have you ever noticed that you are obsessed only with certain thoughts from them?
Furthermore, have you noticed that it originates from memories of the “wounded I-self”?
If you can trace that memory of “wounded I-self” back to its source and see through that it arises from a one-sided interpretation of experience through clarity of innermost stillness (which leads to letting go, the dissolution of the mind (ego)), attachment to that particular thought will disappear.
Or, at the very least, you will be able to recognize that you have fallen into such unconscious habits and detach from them.
The first step is to look back at all of experiences one by one and see through by clarity of innermost stillness that there is an unconscious pattern involved.
However, this is never due to the “you” that “you” think as yourself; only the awareness, which is the innermost stillness of clarity, can see through it, and when it sees the facts as they are with that clarity, there is no one who sees them anywhere.
It is non-self.
In other words, seeing through the facts, there is only seeing through, but there is no fixed one who sees it anywhere.
Therefore, if the awareness truly sees through the reality with the clarity of innermost stillness, no judgment or I-self-definition will arise.
And it is always non-dual.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
When we witness phenomena (doings) of the non-self, we all experience that it make hearts tremble with deep impression, and leaving us in tears for no apparent reason.
However, at that very moment, the mind (ego) as unconsciousness immediately creates a convenient story to maintain illusion of the separation.
For example, “I’m so moved because that person is doing wonderful good deeds,” or “I want to be like that person.”
In this way, we unconsciously keep reinforcing the identification with the thought of “separation (the duality as self and others).”
When the awareness sees through that even these egocentric interpretations story are just appeared and disappeared, and that we, neverthelss, unconsciously identify with such mere thoughts as the “I”-self, it will also realize for the first time that phenomena are non-self, and how clingy it have been identified with the mere idea of a personal “I” until then.
At that moment, just as same as we are impressed and awestruck by the doing of non-self, the heart will tremble with deep impression, and tears will naturally flow.
This world of non-self is beauty of perfection.
It is the manifestation of the non-duality of truth, and it is precisely the moment we witness this manifest of perfection, we are impressed through the heart and weep in awe.
However, there are no thoughts there, nor thinker or experiencer at all.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
See through this wholeness and perfection that exists here and now, but not by physical eyes.
Never with “I” or “you,” but with the clarity of innermost stillness.
And quietly detach as the awareness from illusory attachment to mere thoughts that always make a fuss, such as “This is the result of my efforts,” “I achieved this,” “I am special,” and so on.
It must be easy if the awareness can see through that the underlying unconscious self-awareness of “an inadequate ‘I’,” is an illusion to begin with.
It’s not about trying to let go, nor thinking about the “I” self.
All we need is that the awareness sees through that the “you” or “I” that thinks and efforts, is an attachment to thoughts of interpretation based on illusion, and that this is the source of suffering.
It is seeing through to the truth as absolute raw reality that lies prior to all interpretations and identifications of phenomena by the mind (ego).
It is only phenomena without the self, non-self, and is always impermanence. (OM 🙏)
