“Awareness is not conscience.”

“Awareness is not conscience.”

“AWARENESS IS NOT CONSCIENCE.”

Awareness is not conscience at all.

Even though it never judges, resists or reacts to what is, such as seeking peace, love, justice, etc., it is always witnessing everything, silently, even when we are unaware.

For example, even if we become angered and become consumed with malice, leading us to do something we would not normally do, it will never condemn us.

At such times, the “conscience” that may be heard in head, admonishing us to calm down or criticizing us, is a voice that most people think of as a voice to listen to and representing the good in people. However, in reality, it is merely a deception disguised by the very same ego; it is simply another thought.

We will not become good people or attain enlightenment by choosing only good thing within illusory duality, that can’t be anything other than mere imagination or interpretation, as thought; rather, the moment the awareness sees through that non-duality—that both good and evil are the same ego—the illusion will be dissolved and we will be also freed from its attachment.

And so, suffering disappears.

Meanwhile, the ego, always striving to be good in conscious mind, keeps speaking of goodness.

However, its actions are often unconscious, knee-jerk reactions, and its words and reactions are often inconsistent.

For example, the ego may interpret general remarks as personal as being attacked, rejected, etc., and it reflexively fights against that illusion of interpretation without realizing it, seeking to right the wrong or defeat the other person the ego considers as aggressors. Or, even if it would be ‘good thing,’ it is exactly the same in term of reaction by the ego, for example, it self-righteously considers only good things as useful for people, and obssessed more and more with such thoughts it judges as good, or what it sees as the opinion of the majority.

In this way, the ego is always trapped in duality, and keeps clinging to it endlessly until the awareness truly becomes aware of this fact.

When we think, “What (who) is right?” “We should be ‘good,’” or something like that, and then, attached and pursue these ideas, that’s exactly when for self-inquiry into who is seeking that rightness or goodness.

Become aware that there is no substance or basis with such thoughts and also attachments.

Finally.

Cherish the time you spend in nature.

Rather than bringing nature into your life, go out into nature and surrender yourself to its natural rhythm.

Those nature of stillness that live with law of nature always have so much to say to us.

Simply through its pure presence, but in a non-verbal way.

Listen humbly to that way of being.

At that time, never take various interpretations in the head, or concepts or ideas you’ve heard somewhere before, even if it’s spiritual.

But, realize the absolute silence within, that completely aligns with that nature, the very same silence as that nature. (OM 🙏)
