“NON-SELF”
When the awareness is truly awakened, whatever definition, interpretation, or thoughts popped up in head may be, such as self-definition that “I am awakened,” “I am consciousness,” or “I have understood the truth,” or interpretation of the self based on experiences, the environment in which one was born, or even thoughts like “I have a special role,” it no longer takes them as real and clings to any of them.
Rather, the awareness directly realizes (embraces) truth that there is no such thing as “I.” Thus, for example, even if the awareness uses the word “I” to explain the truth, there is no longer meaning of a separate, individual “I” with that explanation.
Furthermore, even if there is some times when we revered sages due to misidentification of the self, the more we turn inwardly for self-observation and self-inquiry to see through facts as they are, and the awareness realizes various living insights and wisdom through clarity of the innermost stillness, the more the awareness will no longer worship anyone as separate individuals, heroize, or view any special person as “right.”
This is because the moment of becoming aware of facts is when the awareness sees through the illusions we had unknowingly harbored, and at the same time, also the moment of what the mind (ego) as illusion we thought as real is inevitably dismantled and dissolved. And this dissolution of the illusory “ego-self” in this way, which is not a second-hand idea, thinking like “‘I’ purified the ego,” but actual dissolution of the illusion, means that the awareness inevitably gets close to “non-self,” a state without separation, to the essence as wholeness, oneness.
This does not mean that there is nothing to learn from others anymore at all; on the contrary, with each moment of becoming aware of something anew, the pure state of essence of “humility = non-self” becomes more natural, and its pureness can make the awareness be inspired awe in unknown of the “now” more and more, and also learn more and more from everyone, that is not only new people it meets, but also those close to it.
This is the very state of pure essence, the simplest state where there is no separation anywhere and no concept or perception as well of hierarchical relationships such as soon or late, superior or inferior.
And so, one by one, illusions surely come to cease to exist.
What remains is simply an undefined, unfixed, centerless, formless “something,” which is grasped as truth.
It is wholeness, oneness, never “this ‘I’” nor “this experience of ‘mine’.”
Furthermore, because the awareness realizes that the truth it directly grasped at any given time is never everything, and also embraces the fact that there is always an unknown of truth that cannot be fully grasped, thus, the awareness will no longer say, “I know something,” because the awareness has seen through such a convinient delusion by the mind (ego) as well.
In this way, the self-righteous and dogmatic arrogance of “I want to tell people truth,” “I want to teach them right direction,” “I want to save people,” or “I want to guide them,” and so on, or contrary, the self-deprecation of “ego-self” of “I won’t understand truth unless I’m taught,” or etc., disappear with illusion of the mind (ego), or even if such thoughts popped up in head as before, the awareness no longer identifies with them, or attaches.
At the same time, the awareness simply “just be,” and just witnesses all phenomena such as thoughts, emotions, memories, or experiences that appear and disappear in the field of consciousness, that is, where is manifested the impermanence of all things, without any separation between self and other, and yet unaffected by them in any way.
And yet, because the awareness also realizes that “the present moment is all there is,” even if the awareness encounters something it doesn’t understand, top priority will naturally be “being present moment,” and the awareness will simply surrender itself to the laws of nature, and let even those unknown points naturally reveald at the optimal timing.
This is manifested the truth that there is no longer any need to become someone.
Therefore, inevitably, there is no longer any attachment for the awareness to anything, whether it be knowledge, experience, relationships, or influences.
In this way, “non-self,” also known as abiding at “innermost stillness” or “clarity,” becomes the most natural state.

Non-self: If there is no “self” that claims ownership of experiences or clings to thoughts, emotions, memories, etc., no problems, either external or internal, are created, and naturally, no suffering occurs.

Lastly.
There is always an optimal time for each awareness to truly awaken to self-awareness. And a seemingly chaotic world the mind (ego) sees is in fact always perfect, and this chaos that seems real is merely an interpretation by the mind (ego).
This truth means that conflicts or wars occur in various areas of the world never because people are not truly awakened, and also that it is not at all their fault that love and peace cannot be achieved.
On the contrary, it is those who make such judgments and perceive the various thoughts and stories that appear one after another in the mind as reality and who are attached to them, and who are the one therefore is not truly awakened. What they identify with, regard as reality and are trapped by are merely thoughts that appear and disappear in the field of consciousness as impermanence, that they merely claims ownership of them due to misidentification.
These (temporary) phenomena are experienced to a greater or lesser extent by all of us, and there is nothing wrong with them.
They just arise and then pass away.
However, the essence, consciousness, awareness is always, uninfluenced by anything, simply witnessing everything. (OM 🙏)
