“The mind (ego) cannot see reality.”

“The mind (ego) cannot see reality.”

“THE MIND (EGO) CANNOT SEE REALITY.”

The mind (ego) cannot see reality as it is.

It is constantly interpreting, judging, defining, and comparing, distorting reality and unconsciously creating problems, insisting that the root of the problem (i.e., fact of separation) is always real and outside.

In this way, it constantly creates a story that is convenient for itself (i.e., that validates its own significance of existence).

While the awareness does not realize this, we unknowingly continue to mistake who “we” are by identifying with thoughts, emotions, events that we consider to be personal experiences, and the memories of those experiences that pop into head and then disappear.

This is what is called “ignorance.”

This “ignorance” does not mean a lack of knowledge or spiritual experience.

This means that not only is there no direct awareness of the truth through openness as the clarity of innermost stillness, but there is also no awareness yet of the fact that this direct awareness alone will not cease to exist all the dregs of the mind (ego).

Therefore, when the awareness directly realizes that the “I” we think of is actually without substance, and also completely realizes that that awareness alone does not make the mind (ego) cease to exist—when the awareness fully awakens (the awareness has fully embraced all the unknown of truth as well)—the awareness effortlessly detaches from all attachment to “I” and “mine,” as well as the illusion of “I” self—and the awareness no longer identifies with any thoughts, emotions, experiences, memories, etc.

At that moment, pure awareness continously comes to see through all the illusion.

Then, the awareness is finally, always able to see wholeness, absolute reality as it truly is, embodying perfection, beauty, profundity, ultimate love, or etc.

Whether we realize it or not, the awarenss is always coming towards the moment when the awareness completely awakens from the unconscious illusion.

At the same time, there is not even for a split second when the awareness is not The Self, but it is just unaware of it.

So on the contrary, when we surrender all the efforts that we try to awaken or to become someone, and also all the attachment of the thoughts and memories that tell us as if we were someone such as “I am the Awareness,” which all of them are counterproductive, the truth will naturally become clear, paradoxically.

Impersonal existence (consciousness, awareness) remains constant as pure simplicity, as it is, and always perfect, that is the eternal “now” transcended time and space as a complete wholeness that needs neither addition nor subtraction.

This is the true formless “you” as The Self, which is the very indescribable, totally something transcendental, not like something “you” you think you are. (OM 🙏)
