“THE TRUE SELF”
Nothing visible or perceptible is eternal.
Therefore, living in the “now,” or being in the “now,” means, in other words, existing fluidly without being trapped by the impermanence of all phenomena.
This untrapped object includes not only all phenomena, such as people and the world, but also all spiritual teachings, the body and thoughts we thought were our own, the various concepts we believed in without question, the meanings (definitions) of words like “God,” “love,” “non-duality,” “enlightenment,” “spirituality,” or “The Self,” our meaning of existence, our worldview, our outlook on life, social conventions, common sense, and even our emotions—all of these transient things that arise within us.
These are merely waves in the ocean or clouds in the sky, appearing and disappearing.

If one truly observes the essence of all things, including oneself, with the clarity of innermost stillness, one will begin to see through and become aware of the following truths:
You will be stunned to be aware of things like:
- Always the incredible self-righteousness and dogmatism of the mind (ego) while you believed without a doubt that it was yourself and tried so hard to become a good person.
- All of the mind (ego) told you were lies, and nothing more than fantasies you just wanted to believe because you were afraid to face the truth.
- It was because you were so anxious that you wanted to believe them, which were based on the mind’s (ego’s) misperception, interpretations, or projections from the past.
- Ultimately, everything you thought was yourself was actually without basis or substance.
Furthermore, you will also be stunned to be aware of things like this:
- That what you thought was love was not love at all, but merely attachment, a convenient excuse you needed to avoid facing yourself.
- That everything you had clung to was something the mind (ego) needed to escape the unfathomable fear born from the insecurity of existence and the self-recognition of separateness.
And you will also be shocked to realize that:
- everything you thought you “knew” until then was merely speculation based on past experiences, a mere interpretation of what was already known.
- events you thought were facts were merely projections of the past, and in reality, nothing happened what you thought.
In other words, you will realize that while you thought you “knew,”in fact you knew nothing about yourself or anything else.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
In this way, each of the “I” you thought you were and each of the experiences you thought were “mine,” or all other illusion will come to be dismantled and dissolved.
In this way, the illusory self, the mind (ego), will disappear (be purified), and what remains in the end will be formless: consciousness, absolute reality.
There is no duality at all, only there is total unity.
Everything was, is and will be a universal “I,” impersonality that far transcends the individual.
This awareness, what awareness inwardly becomes aware is true spirituality, something that cannot be grasped through knowledge or any other means.
At that moment, awareness will realize that this is what it has been seeking for all life.
Awareness will comprehend that there is, in fact, nothing one needs to seek outside at all, and that it has always been there, within, observing everything.
At that moment, in stark contrast to the sense of powerlessness that the mind (ego) sometimes felt until then, as if all your efforts had been wasted, awareness will realize an indescribable relief, a calmness of just being, and a spaciousness that come from directly grasping this non-dual wholeness, which requires no effort at all.
“THE TRUE SELF” is nothing that can be a small, personal mind (ego), but has simply and always been “IT.”
And even without doing anything, it has always been “IT.”
It was just because it is so esoteric due to its sheer simplicity, and the mind cannot see it, and thus, awareness believed that visual information, thoughts, emotions, etc. were “I,” or “mine,” and it merely identified with them. (OM 🙏)
