“EGO’S CLAIMS.”

The ego claims, “I know this,” “I have done this,” “This is more correct for XXX,” “I must add XXX to this…,” “A great sage said XXX,” “I am special and different from others,” “I have many qualifications related to XXX,” and so on.

However, as the ego claims how much it knows or has done right, how special it is, as a matter of fact, it desperately clings to these claims because it perceives itself as separated and isolated individual from essence, divinity, and consciousness itself, and also, it totally doesn’t even realize what it is doing at all.

In fact, the deepening of spiritual awakening can be possible only when the natural humility of the open heart that is created by surrendering (purifying) each of these egos through seeing through the facts as they are with clarity.

Without this purification, humility, and sincerity of a way of being as non-self, there can never be a deepening of spiritual awakening.

This is because spiritual awakening is not only something the mind (ego) can never achieve, but it is the very illusion, the mind itself that ceases to exist.

In fact, if one’s spiritual awakening is truly deepening, one as non-self will deffinitely no longer claim anything like, what is right, how spiritually awakened one is, and so on. Because one comes to comprehend that the mind (ego) sees anything only in the relative duality, as illusion, delusion, thus, there is no truth other than that “all is always right in its own way of perception.”

Therefore, if, on the contrary, we are attached to such claims, it means that we are clearly out of the way of spiritual awakening. In other words, we are very likely, unknowingly in deception, in disguise (falling into the ego’s trap) due to the doership of the mind (ego) that thinks it knows something, or we are avoiding facing directly at facts out of fear, or etc.

Thus, the mind (ego) judging, compering, or defining what we have done and how much we have done is actually obstacle itself for self-realization, and under such mind’s (ego’s) story of noisiness, we will not even be clarity of the innermost stillness, or unintentional openness of heart at all.

Looking at it from another angle, due to unrecognized arrogance, self-righteousness, dogmatism, or even fear born of ignorance (ego), there is only an illusion the mind percieves, such as the mind (ego) of ‘I’ or separation of duality, on the other hand, the essence of humanity, the divinity that far beyond the individual, has been unknowingly left far deeper inside, so that even the faintest whisper of it cannot reach the heart.

The purpose of our life is to shrug off such the ego’s claims and find once again within the essence, the divinity, that has been left far deep inside with fear caused by optical illusion.

That’s everything.

Whoever we are, whatever and however we have been doing until now, we are always and already the essence, The impersonal Self, never other than anything but Divinity. (OM 🙏)
