“THERE IS NOTHING EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.”
This world, which appears to the mind (ego) as nothing but chaos, is simultaneously based on order (the cosmos) that perfectly conforms to the laws of nature.
In this way, relative duality is never a one-or-the other world, as the mind (ego) would like to believe. Rather, opposites always need each other and always exist simultaneously, but the mind (ego) simply cannot see, realize, or see through what is.
On the other hand, the field in which all relative duality, including the infinite unknown, manifests—this infinite possibility itself—is impersonal consciousness, a limitless, formless, omnipresent as non-duality that transcends time and space.
In other words, the world, or duality, as perceived by the mind (ego) is like clouds floating in the sky, merely a transient phenomenon, a manifestation of impermanence (in this case, “clouds”) that simply appears and disappears wherein the non-duality of absolute reality (in this case, “sky”).
However, this non-duality, the Self, is not a personality as a separated entity, so-called “God,” that manifests superiority or perfection far superior to the poor human mind (ego). Nor is it something that the mind (ego) reaches or achieves through countless effort and hardship.
In fact, this absolute reality, the Self, is the absolute truth; it has never been hidden, and none of us have ever been always and already anything other than that.
However, we, all beings, are trapped in an imaginary “self,” through visual information, memories, beliefs, etc., that we divide non-self of consciousness of wholeness, which can never be divided, and identify with various things except the essence. It isolates us, and the unfathomable fear that arises from losing sight of the essence causes us to create various kinds of suffering and scramble to control it.
And the mind (ego) treats it as if it were “bad” or “something to be eliminated,” condemning and even trying to crush what it calls “evil.” In reality, even though this unconscious resistance to status quo creates itself suffering, however, paradoxically, this itself allows us to reach a moment when, without intending to, we completely surrender all attachment and identification.
At that moment, we finally begin to turn our attention, which had previously been focused outward, completely inward. Rather than thinking, we begin to thoroughly observe and inquire ourselves with the clarity of the innermost stillness to see through the facts as they are, in a selfless, egoless state as absence of doer.
Only then do we as non-self realize that even though we have never been other than non-self essence, we have been stubbornly identifying as separated personal being with anything other than that.
In the meantime, the more we complete each of the various spiritual challenges we have set for oneself in this lifetime, the more deeply we comprehend absolute truth, absolute reality impersonally through those experiences, and the more purely we are as non-self, just being as the essence.
There is no such thing as a “personal self” anywhere.
As The Self, we are merely experiencing everything within various ways of being, as if rediscovering The Self through various mind (ego) patterns.
It doesn’t have to be difficult, and it also doesn’t have to even lead to self-realization.
As a matter of fact, there is nothing “should be” at all.
Of course, there’s no punishment for misdeeds in a past life, nor is there any reward from a superior entity, so-called “God,” for some special action.
Life is simply a kind of game, a limitless, endless experience of various possibilities for The Self as wholeness.

This is because, in non-duality, awareness of The Self can never be possible, due to indivisible or unidentifiable.
That’s why the illusion of identification with the body or the mind (ego) through visual separation is essential, even though it is the source of the confusion and suffering in the first place.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Looking at it from another angle, the mind’s (ego’s) ignorance is not at all a sign of personal inadequacy or stupidity; rather, its existence of ignorance precisely creates an opportunity to become aware of the essence, the non-self, which is a non-dual absolute reality.
Therefore, the mind’s (ego’s) misperceptions are not unnecessary, such that the mind (ego) laments, “I wish I had never made the misperception in the first place.” In fact, we never deviate from the impersonal essence even for a moment, but everything is merely perceived only out of necessity.
