“In the innermost stillness”

“In the innermost stillness”

“IN THE INNERMOST STILLNESS”

If we thoroughly observe all our words and reactions with the clarity of innermost stillness, we will know exactly what we should do now.

This is the most sublime, profoundest, and purest moment of endless self-awareness.

Its awareness or wisdom will be never about “what people or society should do,” nor defining or guessing “how spiritually awakened I am.”

It never gives us any specific, judgmental instructions or shows empathy, such as “You should do this,” “This is the worst,” or “This is the best.”

Of course, this is natural, since it’s completely stillness. Yet, every time in self-observation and self-inquiry, we know exactly what we should do (the pathless path to God) by seeing through the facts as they are through the clarity of innermost stillness.

And that is the magic of the clarity of innermost stillness.

It is precisely because it’s clarity that we observe everything as it is, from edge to edge, without any noise or din of the mind (ego)’s whitewashing or excuses.

In this way, clarity with the awareness that is not based on any values or relative duality, simply allows us to see through the fact that the mind (ego) has no basis in reality, the impermanence of all phenomena, thoughts, and emotions, and the lack of substance of the “I” or mind (ego) that we think we are, or etc. By knowing what we should do now in that way and then following through on that, we can steadily grasp the difference between the mind (ego) and the essence, and unintentionally surrender (dismantle) the mind (ego), freeing beingness (awareness, egolessness, absence of doer) to true freedom from the insubstantial illusions of attachment and preconception.

In other words, because these are illusions without substance, the awareness, not the mind (ego), realizes that there was never actually anything there to need to be released, to begin with.

At the moment the veil of the mind (ego) is removed, the “truth” that has always and already existed within as itself is finally made manifest, without any intention or efforts of the mind (ego).

The truth, which cannot be fully explained in words and cannot be fully grasped, becomes aware of as awareness of non-self, of itself in its all-seeing and all-pervading.

There is no longer any mind (ego) trying to become someone, saying things like, “I am God!” or “I have awakened spiritually” or “I know how amazing I am spiritually aware of.”

Even such a mind (ego) will be embraced as a mere illusion that appears and disappears in thoughts, and as one of the essential tools we use to play the game of life for becoming aware of the Self.

You as the impersonal awareness will realize that you completely have forgotten that you created your own field of experience, based on your mind (ego) and personal body, and have been playing the various roles you have set for yourself, and it will also realize that everything you’ve been as the personal self at the mercy of unmistakably has been as a kind of theatrics orchestrated to experience and become aware of The Self by the unknown, the impersonal Self as your-true-self, the magnificent universe. Nevertheless, it will be filled with pure admiration and even awe at the profoundness, grandeur, and sheer miracle of this ingenious, multi-layered structure of spiritual awakening.

Whatever it may be, the key is to carefully savor this moment.

When you encounter something that seems like a problem, something that makes you resist, ask the innermost stillness: “What does this phenomenon tell you to pay attention to?” or “What is the spiritual challenge in here?” Then, work on each one one by one.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Yet, once you stay away from the innermost stillness, the voice of the mind (ego) will get noisy again, as always, and sometimes, it will impatiently urge you to “do this” or you may begin to worry about the future again and cling to negative predictions as amplifying your anxiety.

But that’s when it’s time to stop being tossed about by thoughts.

No matter how real those voices may seem, and whether it may be positive or negative, don’t listen to them.

Yet, cherish the very beingness by being patient and gentle with yourself.

If you reamin detached from thoughts and emotions to let them alone appear and disappear, the moment when all veils of the mind (ego) are completely lifted may not be far off.

After all, you have never been anything other than impersonal essence, The Self, awareness, no matter what self-perception you have at that point.

So, remain within stillness. (OM 🙏)
