“ONE THING AT A TIME”
No matter what the thing, stop forcing yourself, pushing yourself in any way, or trying to change who you are now.
Instead, through self-observation and self-inquiry, clarify why you are stuck, why your spiritual awakening isn’t deepening, one by one.
Once you’ve come these thongs into the light one by one with the clarity of the innermost stillness, then carefully and sincerely work on them one at a time (embracing each fact as it is).
In fact, the essence never runs away from you, and there is no moment when you are anything other than the Self, no matter how your-perception is.
Therefore, even if it would be spiritual thing, doing something while putting your current self aside, as a matter of fact, nothing more than an act of ignorance and against pure existence (the Self, divine, impersonal being).
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
People who are unaware of their current self, who have not forgiven themselves, or who have not accepted what happened are unable to live in the present due to their identification with a mind (ego) that clings to memories.
In reaction to it, they become more obsessed with “doingness” in the present, thinking, or telling people (including themselves) “We should do this” — for example, “We should be kind to others” — or “I (that person) have awakened spiritually.”
However, it arises from ignorance, which makes them complete lack of consideration for the reasons why each person cannot do something, and the way is a complete lack of awareness that this is a mind (ego) imposing, dogmatic and self-righteous behavior disguised as “goodness,” and it is actually arrogance of the mind (ego) at all.
And so, unaware that they are trying to change the past (facts) that cannot be changed as well, they keep trying to change themselves and the world.
This is because they are unable to accept the sense of powerlessness they felt, nor acknowledge the fact that it was unavoidable, and therefore, they have been being unable to fully experience the hurt they felt, and thus, the past remains unsublimated.
This leads to a strong attachment to personal memories, experiences, and ‘I’.
As a result, people remain hurt, unable to embrace it, and unknowingly keep seeking compensation from the world for the hurt they felt.
They loudly keep seeking “righteousness,” “love,” or “kindness,” that are actually just concepts or ideas.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
However, when one can truly embrace each of these facts through self-observation and self-inquiry, one finally comes to accept the past as it is, and for the first time, one will be able to come to live in the present.
It will then become easier to continue focusing one’s attention on the present.
At that point, the natural flow will begin to flow naturally again, in accordance with the laws of nature.
Only then, by the blocked flow begins to flow again, will one finally make the opportunity for oneself without intention or effort, to become aware that one is The Self, which will be direct grasp, but will totally be not intellectual or conceptual understanding at all.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
It’s actually very common that people move away from the truth by rushing into fantasy without taking the necessary steps due to desperate desire. This is because by the duality of the mind (ego), which is a false self-identification and attachment to personal memories and experiences, focuses attention only outward and lacks of inward.
Only true wisdom, born of the clarity of innermost stillness, can ever become aware of it and rescue you from this state of being.
So, instead of trying to become someone, always be with who you are now. (OM 🙏)
