“SURRENDER”
Stop trying to understand the words of the sage.
And stop trying to attain enlightenment as well.
Such reactions are, in fact, nothing more than keeping playing a self-hypnotization of the assumption by the mind (ego) that “I must understand something” or “I must realize something.”
This self-hypnosis leads us to endlessly pursue the illusory moments imagined by the mind (ego) until we become aware of this fact for ourselves.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
We have never been, and never will be, anything other than impersonal consciousness itself as the essence and wholeness.
We are merely obscuring the truth by perceiving as fact the emotions and thoughts that merely appear and disappear, which are produced by the noisy voice of the mind (ego), such as inner monologue, beliefs, assumptions, projections, attachments, and the mistaken belief that the mind (ego) is ourselves.
That is why the sages say:
“Abide in stillness.”
“When you find inner stillness, you will be able to find peace there.”
If you truly abide in the innermost stillness, you will be able to realize that everything is always revealed at the right time, and in the right amount.
In other words, the more you abide in the stillness, without being distracted by impatience or fear, the more you will, as the essence, become aware of what you need to become aware of now, and the more you entrust the impermanent world to the great mystery of the unknown, the more smoothly and naturally things will proceed.
In fact, truth is so simple that the mind (ego) cannot even imagine it.
As a matter of fact, the esoteric truth you will become aware at some point is that there is no such thing as a separate, isolated individual (you or me).
So do not fear loneliness, but find peace in the innermost stillness.
Even if you may fear loneliness, if you accept that fact as it is, you will be eventually able to understand that loneliness exists only in your mind.
Everything you see, touch, and think you have, or think you know is impermanent and an illusion.
Seeking stability by controlling and attaching to all impermanence and illusion brings the very suffering.
Let go of it all.
