“THE ONE WHO EXISTS BEYOND THE DOER”
If you simply do what the sage says, you remain a doer.
Due to doership (self-deception) resulting from unconscious identification with the mind (ego), you are still trapped in the confusion of subject and object, the illusion of separation.
This will keep until you directly grasp with the heart the true meaning of why the sage expressed it that way.
When you directly grasp that true meaning, doer will no longer exist anywhere.
Furthermore, at that moment, you will also comprehend what you misunderstood and how you misunderstood it before you grasp it.
Therefore, you will inevitably no longer find yourself embroiled in a group of people who interpret the words of the sage in various perceptions and argue about which interpretation is correct, because at that point, you realize that all of those is nonsense.
This is because you will comprehend that the “individual self” that interprets the true meaning was an illusion in the first place.
On the flip side, if you still find yourself attempting or actually doing to argue, you need to become aware that this is manifested that you have not yet grasped the true meaning.

To directly grasp the truth, or the true meaning of the words of a sage means that the “I” trying to grasp it no longer exists.
As a matter of fact, the desire to “understand” or the perception of a “personal self” or “I” that manifests itself in the thought “I understand correctly” is the greatest obstacle to directly grasping the true meaning of the words of the sages, the truth (The Self, God).
Looking at it from another angle, it is also an aspect that demonstrates the profoundness of truth.
Only when, after all our attempts, we can sink deeper and deeper into the innermost stillness, completely surrender the “personal self” or “I” and all the efforts, and truly humbly (selfless, egoless) ask into the void, will search for truth come to an end.
This is because, where all illusion of the “personal self” as a seeker does not exist, only “Truth (The Self, God)” remains.
When we thus directly grasp the truth, we will realize that the words of various sages from various eras, though expressed differently, all convey the same thing, the same truth.
At that time, you as impersonal existence completely come to comprehend that the truth is beyond dispute in any way at all. (OM 🙏)
