“Comprehension the difference”

“Comprehension the difference”

“COMPREHENSION THE DIFFERENCE”

Only you can know what is needed and there is no one else.

At that time, even if you are not aware that “this is what I need” or you are choosing without any conviction, everything you are experiencing is what you need exactly.

It has nothing to do with the judgment of the mind (ego) such as “right or wrong” or what a sage would say is “right”.

On the contrary, you may experience bitter experiences that your mind (ego) considers to be wrong, or even feel frustrated, wondering why you are experiencing such things.

However, we experience them, including all the things that the mind (ego) perceives as negative or unnecessary, because we each need them spiritually.

More ultimately, because we only experience (perceive) that which embodies our inner self.

This is what is interesting about human consciousness and what is profound about spiritual awakening.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Whatever things related to spiritual awakening is, it is significant to fully open yourself to the unknown, and to discover within yourself, one by one, what the spiritual teachings are pointing to, through very careful self-observation and self-inquiry, rather than trying to understand it with a mind (ego, head) that can only know the known, such as definitions of words, judgments, or rational interpretations, conceptual and intellectual understandings.

In other words, the most significant thing in spiritual awakening is to find a clear difference between the voice of your own mind (ego) (thoughts such as judgments and interpretations, and emotions) and the voiceless voice of the essence (facts, universal wisdom, etc.) that can only be grasped in the innermost stillness.

It is not about knowing them with the mind (ego), but about becoming aware of them with the heart.

And what has a big impact on distinguishing between this voiceless voice of the essence and the voice of the mind (ego) is, “How much can you let go?”

In fact, having a lot of things (not just the number of types, but the quantitative amount of each as well) psychologically, mentally, physically, financially, etc. means that we have a sense of self-incompleteness or self-inadequacy to the extent that we need to fill up with them, which means clearly that we identify ourselves with the mind (ego) and live our lives driven by the voice of the mind (ego).

In that case, by mentally letting go of its dependance one by one not only the voice of the mind (ego) that blocks out the voiceless voice of the essence, but also the various things (status, money, qualifications, power, etc.) and relationships (partner, parent-child relationships) that we have added to as the mind (ego) thinks necessary, we will naturally be able to clearly distinguish the difference between the voice of the mind (ego) and the voiceless voice of the essence.

The clearer this difference becomes in this way, the more naturally you will no longer wander around looking for answers outward.

Because it means that you are being guided by the most accurate and reliable spirituality for spritual awakening.

Furthermore, being able to distinguish between the voice of the mind (ego) and the voiceless voice of the essence is of course of great help in truly deepening self-observation and self-inquiry. But that’s not all. By doing so, you will come to see the voice of the mind (ego) (thoughts such as judgments or interpretations, or emotions, etc.) as something that simply appears and disappears, without trying to control or fight it at all, but simply observing it from the innermost stillness, and even more, being able to purely abide as the essence that is not caught up in the drama of the mind (ego).

Or, when you realize that you are caught up in the drama of the mind (ego), you will be able to detach yourself from it.

In this way, we clarify the essence as awareness, and deepen detachment from the identification with the mind (ego).

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

On the other hand, just acting as a doer according to what a sage says will not bring you the self-realization you may desperately want.

On the contrary, in many cases, due to lack of connection with the innermost stillness and without comprehension of the difference between the mind (ego) and the essence, people can unknowingly fall into self-deception, such as thinking they understand spiritual teachings by the conceptual, intellectual understanding or rational interpretation of the mind (ego), and are completely unaware of themselves, that is, the reactions and behavior of the mind (ego). For example, it is very common for such people to be unknowingly arrogant, to despise, or to show off their knowledge, toward people who have elementary questions.

In that case, due to such a lack of the connection with the innermost stillness, even though they will be able to show (conditional) goodness such as kindness to others when they are aware of themselves with manifest mind (less than about 10% of awareness) but with the unconsciousness that is more than 90% of awareness, they will not only be unable to show ultimate love, but will also be unable to realize that they are in this state.

These facts do not reveal whether it is good or bad, but instead, it indicates that we need to realize through self-observation that such a way of being is not the truth, that it is simply a change in the direction of our outward attention, and that we are still in the drama the mind (ego) creates and is obssesed same as before, such as comparison, competition, or judgement, caused by identification with the mind (ego).

In other words, these things purely teach us that we need to know ourselves (mind, ego and essence) more deeply.

And this is why it is said that there is no such thing as “mistake or failure” in spiritual awakening.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Letting go of all efforts to understand, realize the truth, or spiritual awakening.

Whatever it may be, all efforts are always made by the mind (ego) and will never awaken us spiritually.

On the contrary, the mind (ego) will definitely keep to lead us astray in a forest of illusions far removed from the truth.

What we need to look at squarely here is the fact that the truth is something unknown, something far beyond the mind (ego) can even imagine.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

When we are able to truly observe ourselves in this way, we will become aware of how much we live our lives unconsciously, as if we are being tossed about by the drama of the mind (ego), or how little we are in the present, and we will be shocked, not a little, by this fact, on the other hand, it will unavoidably lead to spontaneous and fundamental transformation.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Every person is always being led by the essence to the more profound truth without a moment’s rest.

Only you can find that pathless road within yourself in your life, and only you can walk that pathless road as well. (OM 🙏)
