“BE AT EASE WITH THE PRESENT”

If you can be at ease with the present and be aware of the various movements of the mind (ego) (emotions, thoughts, etc.) as The Self, the awareness (spiritual wisdom) needed to open the next door will come to you at the best possible time.

There is no early or late awareness.

There is no “you” that needs to be improved anywhere.

Furthermore, there is no need to make an effort to become aware. For example, there is no need to increase spiritual knowledge or become obsessed with spiritual actions.

“Efforts” are always made by the mind (ego) in order to change the situation or yourself, which in the end only deepens your identification with the mind (ego) or body.

Rather, it is important to carefully savor the present moment.

To put it in extreme terms, it doesn’t matter how the mind (ego) behaves.

For example, there is no need to judge whatever the mind does, such as “It’s bad to do XX.” Instead, detachment from such perception of relative duality, it is simply important for you, as the observer of The Self, to become aware of the words and actions of the mind (ego), which does not belong to any individual.

Do you see it?

Stop treating the mind (ego) as something unique to individual beings, and instead recognize it as something general, an unconscious behavior of the mind (ego) that prevents awareness as The Self or cleverly deceives you.

On the contrary, the more we are trapped in the perception (identification) and perspective that regards the mind (ego) as something personal, the more we will unconsciously distort the facts based on the convenient interpretation of the mind (ego) and unfounded confidence that we are doing everything right, or obssessed with self-condemnation. Also, despite the fact that the mind (ego) has “unconscious,” meaning that over 90% of our words and actions are unconscious, we will unavoidably keep to be dissatisfied with others, and saying that they are far from the ideal that the mind (ego) has, like the pot calling the kettle black.

Instead, in the present, feel the wind, the warmth of the sun, the smell of rain, the whispers of the trees, or marvel at the mystery of how people can move by the coordination of various parts of the body, or, become aware of ourselves through others, and find them within ourselves, and yet carefully savor each and every one of these experiences without relying on any kind of relationship.

And if you become aware of your mind (ego) reacting to something, know that it is your spiritual challenge in this life and face it sincerely.

If you can humbly accept it as the most necessary lesson in this life, it will be surely able to lift you to the next level.
