“THAT MOMENT”

That moment comes suddenly one day.

At that moment, indescribable joy, incredibly deep relief, and immeasurable gratitude all come together and overflow, and the very being trembles with the emotion.

Tears come to flow down cheeks, and even if others see them, one doesn’t care at all.

There is no flow of time there, no body that separates one from others, and not even space.

One instantly grasps, far beyond linguistic understanding, that everything is oneself, and that everything one has seen with the mind (ego) up until that point is all an illusion.

Furthermore, there is no “personal self” called the mind (ego) there that recognizes that it is “a moment of something.”

It is something that cannot be compared to understanding the logic of something with the mind (ego).

It comes without warning when one completely abandons all desires, whether good or bad, such as “I want to meet someone who will love and be loved for the rest of my life,” “I want to help people,” “I want to be enlightened,” and all doctrines, all understanding of spiritual actions, and all of the personal achievements one has made up to then, and becomes completely humble in front of the fact that there is actually nothing that the mind (ego) of the “personal self” that stubbornly believes in “I want to achieve something” or “It is meaningless if I don’t,” can actually achieve. In other words, it comes at the moment of surrender, when the mind (ego) is completely surrendered to the unknown.

Therefore, there is no mind (ego) that is proud of it, and also no mind (ego) that is ashamed of what it has been up to.

This humility is a state of pure consciousness with no mind (ego) anywhere, so much so that it can only be described as “more humble than any way of being the mind (ego) has tried to be humble up to that point.”

To put it into words, it is simply a direct comprehension that, before or since, only “ultimate love” exists, that is, only “absolute reality” is real.

It is a comprehension so direct and complete that it leaves no room for debate, it is also complete and without doubt that the truths that have been expressed in various ways up until then, or will be after, are, in fact, all the same.

There are no differences, and no mistakes.

By the way, “surrender” does not mean admitting defeat, nor losing to something.

It just means acknowledging and accepting the facts as they are.

In fact, there is no being anywhere who can change the impermanence of this world.

Even if all the people on Earth were to unite, it will ever be impossible.

What on earth can we do in the face of such a fact?

How much longer do we keep to judge people and ourselves as “good” or “evil,” supporting good side and condemning evil side, and creating various forms of conflict by such arrogance that we can judge anything, before we can accept the facts?

Be humble.

Humility is the absence of mind (ego).
