“AWARENESS.”
Instead of “I know what I am doing,” become aware of “what you are doing.”
Be aware of that, always.
Set aside other people and the world, and always be aware of what you are feeling or thinking right now.
This “awareness” is not mere knowledge or experience, but pure “state of awareness.”
Furthermore, realize that the master of this awareness is not feeling or thinking something at all, but merely observing everything purely.
Thus, there is no need to control what the mind (ego) feels or thinks, but just abide in the pure state of awareness and continue to choose the path of not allowing the mind (ego) to control your life as the essence.
In other words, it is because you are not the mind (ego) or body at all, but pure awareness itself.

In this way, continue to observe only the facts about yourself. There is no need for any excuses for your words and actions (or reactions). There is, of course, no need to be more right than anyone else, or to excel anyone else at all. What you need to do is just observe the facts of yourself as they are, and accept and forgive each and every one of them, without any judgement or comparisons, wholeheartedly.
Each of these practices, along with various hardships, will gradually develop depth to you, sublimate the mind (ego), and purify you into the essence.
This will lay the groundwork within you for true compassion to emerge, which means that you are building reliable connection with inherent spaciousness within, innermost stillness as the essence.
This is being in the present moment, and it is the moment when the inevitable deepening of spiritual awakening continues to occur. (OM 🙏)
