“WHO ALWAYS TRY TO CHANGE THE WORLD IS…”
Who always try to change the world is those who are still hurt, that is, ourselves, not anyone else.
However, the mind (ego) almost always has no doubt that we are the most realistic, constructive, or compassionate.
Therefore, we criticize those who do not understand our ideals and do not act on them, or we lament that they do not understand us, and we endlessly keep to expect others and the world to be who they should be.
At such times, what the mind (ego) often uses as backing to affirm its own words and actions is that “someone famous, someone we should respect, said the same thing.”
In this way, the mind (ego) deepens the deception through various interpretations.
What such the mind (ego) dreams of is, such as all humanity get along well with each other, and say with a smile, “We are one,” which is the most unrealistic, fantasy within an illusional world.
On the flip side, in fact, we are unaware that we are unknowingly escaping from ourselves through the deception of the mind (ego) of “good deeds,” which makes a fuss about “we have to get rid of that” or “we have to improve this world” by considering something evil because of the pain of our own unhealed wounds (that we have not yet acknowledged and accepted by ourselves).
At first glance, as the mind (ego) wants to believe, we may appear to be very intellectual, but in fact, we are trapped in the illusion of duality, a mere phenomenon that is visible.
In fact, we who have not yet accepted our own unhealed wounds, have not yet known the inner stillness that is most necessary for spiritual awakening, and thus eyes have not yet been opened to see the essence, so we see nothing important, our ears have not yet worked to listen for the essence, so we hear nothing we should listen, our mouth have not yet functioned to talk about the essence, so we can talk nothing profound.
And moreover, we are still left with no comprehension of the essential role of suffering and sorrow and also its profoundness, and because of its pain of the wounds and the busyness of outward workings, thus we can hardly face ourselves for spiritual awakening squarly, even though the mind thinks it does.
And thus, the suffering and sadness cannot go away.
Even if we could get rid of something bad on the outside, we would always find something else, something bad, endlessly.
This is the so-called “hell” world where those who do not know God (ignorance of The Self), can also have no faith, and therefore cannot even walk the path to God fall into.
It is not the Divine Self that find the problem everywhere, but always the mind (ego), and it will keep us away from the path of the Devine Self until we accept the facts fully and realize its “unnecessary.”
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Always see the essence of things.
Instead of trying to change ourselves, others, or the world, face only the facts and accept them completely, as they are.
The more we truly devote ourselves to ourselves, the more the world and people will settle into where they should be, go even very smoothly.
In fact, the world is actually no need for any effort by the mind (ego).
Instead, first of all, we ourselves need to get away from the thoughts that the mind (ego) is obsessed, such as “I have to do something about it,” which are born from the fear of the mind (ego).
Then, we must squarely face the fact that the world will keep turning even if we don’t do anything.
Never resist any feelings of helplessness or worthlessness that may arise at that time, but simply feel them firmly.
And without making any excuses, nor escaping into the interpretations that are convenient and comfortable for the mind (ego), we must remain distance from the words and actions of the mind (ego) that always try to distort the facts and escape from the facts or from ourselves, as being very careful of its clever deceptions.
The mind (ego) totally misleads us often with a way of choosing “good,” that is only seen by the mind (ego) in duality, but it is never in line with the essence.
In order to comprehend deeply to the core that “we are not the mind (ego),” we must determine which is coming from the mind (ego) in our words and actions, one by one, through self-observation in the innermost stillness, where the influence of the mind (ego) cannot reach at all.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Never run away from ourselves, no matter what happens inside, and no matter what we find in ourselves.
Because all of that is an illusion.
Far beyond such illusions, the Divine Self is always present deep within us.
To actually find that Divine Self within, not with mere knowledge, or without being attached to any mind (ego) judgment, that is, to surrender all of the mind (ego) to the unknown and to reach the ultimate enlightenment, is the most profound purpose of our life.
And that is why working on it should be our first priority.
And we must humbly acknowledge the fact that the various sufferings and sorrows, that is seen as bad by the mind (ego) while creating by it, is that undeniably have role of the most esoteric, but precious that lead us to the point of completely surrendering the mind (ego).
We were never born to be victims, nor heroes who rescue such victims, nor to become anyone else.
And yet, the mind (ego) keeps to be obsessed and say, “Look, there are those poor people over there,”or “We can’t just let this terrible thing go on, it’s totally inhumane if we let them keep happening.”
However in fact, the poor people the mind sees are actually ourselves who could not avoid and protect ourselves to be hurt in the past, which unconsciously keep being projected by the mind (ego).
By projecting our past selves and trying to change the world in this way, despite of our recognition of saving others, it is not only we are preventing people from having the valuable experiences necessary for each of them to fully surrender the minds (egos), which can only be reached through suffering and sorrow, but they are actually reactions to unknowingly avoid the pain of wound of our own.
In other words, what we need to do is not to project our wounded selves onto others and try to rescue or fight the illusions the mind (ego) sees, but rather to completely acknowledge and accept the fact that we are still hurt and that cannot be changed as fact, and furthermore, to actually find the Divine Self through continious quest deeper within ourselves, and then to purely exist as the Divine Self in practice.
