“WHAT IS MEANT TO HAPPEN WILL HAPPEN, AND WE ALWAYS MAKE CHOICES.”
The mind (ego) tries desperately to control “what is going to happen?,” but whatever it is, regardless of whether the mind (ego) considers it good or bad, what is meant to happen will always happen.
However, “what will we experience at that time?” depends on each person’s choice, whether we are aware of it or not.
If there is something each should experience, we will definitely experience it, even if the place changes, the people involved change, or even if the event is different.
Because the experience is that the very manifestation of the individual awareness at that moment, and it is not dependent on the event of what happens.
Looking at it from another angle, it means that we are then being asked, “How do we face the event (i.e., face ourselves) and how do we handle it for our own sake (for the sake of The Self and for the sake of spiritual awakening at the same time)?”
What happens inside of us, and how do we deal with it? And what is our awareness about ourselves at that moment? That’s a point. If we can continue to observe the changes occurring within ourselves carefully and without judgment, but never flinching from the facts (such as the various minds, egoic assumptions, projections of the past, etc.), and surrender what is unnecessary as unnecessary, then we will inevitably and spontaneously align with the way of being toward Absolute Reality.
It is not about living for the future, nor being trapped in the past or dragging it, but about shifting our way of being to living carefully in the present moment.
Such a way of being (detaching from the mind, ego and living in the present as the essence) will change our own reality as a creator of reality, and come to make more likely that each of us will one day transcend duality.
However, if we remain attached to identification with the mind (ego), are confused by events that occure, fear being hurt from past pain, try to pretend that something is not true (denial or rejection of facts), or remain deceiving ourselves as if we have become somebody, we will keep to suffer various hardships as victims who are treated badly by society or by others, or contrary, as perpetrators who become arrogant and aggressive, and sometimes secretly entrap people in various ways, such as saying sarcasm.
And then, maybe we will keep to become more and more attached to the people we love, fear disease and death, and keep to resist change as same as before. Or, somewhere along the way, maybe, we will drastically make a change in that choice. In any case, the decision always remaining in our own hands, in complete freedom of choice.

Our lives are not determined by what happens, but by what choices we make will change our reality and the depth of our actual spiritual awakening as well.
If we can continue to focus on ourselves, make choices that are in alignment with the essence, we will inevitably stop struggling with not only ourselves but also others, become calm and fulfilled, and eventually move towards the ultimate enlightenment of realization of The Self as transcendence of duality, and even towards Nirvana.
On the other hand, if we keep to run away from the facts out of fear, we will never be free from that fear, and will create and get involved in various new conflicts, and furthermore, if we keep to pretend that there is no problem, even though we feel desperate inside, we will become further away from the essence, the path to God. And as a result, we will be forced to keep to tell ourselves even more lies in order to remain unaware of this fact.
These are all by the mind’s (ego’s) deception out of unconscious fear.

The way you are today is not someone else’s fault, nor the fault of the times, society, or events, but is entirely the result of your own choices.
This means, on the flip side, that even if society changes, if our own way of being and perceiving things does not change, nothing will change in the world we experience.
And in this way, the world based on its ambivalent feelings and thoughts by the mind (ego) that is stuck in identification with the mind (ego) and unable to observe the facts as they are, is the reason why wars are repeated endlessly and without end.

In this way, even in this lifetime, we continue to choose the degree of spiritual awakening (distance from God) for ourselves, with or without realizing it.
We do not become awakened because we are guided by a special guru, nor do we not become awakened because we are not guided by a guru.
The ultimate question is, whether or not, will we ourselves open the door to the infinite possibilities of consciousness itself (the unknown, God, Ultimate Love) and continue to explore the unknown possibilities by ourselves? (OM 🙏)
