“THE HARD SPIRITUAL CHALLENGES.”
We all have a number of spiritual challenges of our own, but challenges that involve “loss” are among the hardest of all.
For instance, there are many that take a considerable amount of time to face and accept the fact, such as the becoming ill or the mourning of a loved one.
The hurdle to clearing such a challenge is high, but on the other hand, the harder the challenge is, the deeper the spiritual awakening that comes from fundamentally clearing it, in proportion to.
At the same time, as a result, the possibility of falling into the trap of the ego, the illusion of having become somebody, naturally increases.
This is why true seekers become more cautious the deeper their spiritual awakening.
That is how great the influence of identification with the mind (ego) is, and also means that the detachment of the mind (ego), the unconscious is not easy.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
For instance, let’s say a person loses someone close to the person when the person is very young.
Then, that person will start at that point to ask the ultimate question, “What is death? What is life?” and will deal with it for the rest of their life.
The person will then, at any given moment, while always inscribing events related to life and death into their consciousness (the brain constantly collects information related to the matters that are most value to a person), try to grasp the truth, the essence, through these questions.
In this way, the harder the spiritual challenge is, and the more sincerely one faces it, the more likely one is to reach a turning point of spiritual awakening, that is, the realization that one cannot get the answer only by the mind’s (ego’s) effort or will power.
As a result, the mind (ego) is unintentionally surrendered to the unknown, and the possibility of transcending duality increases.
On the other hand, it is of course possible that the spiritual challenge is so hard that one does not reach a turning point of spiritual awakening in this lifetime due to a sense of helplessness, but even that is temporary, and one is always having the experiences necessary for the next step.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
In the end, whatever the spiritual challenge, when we cannot find the divinity in it, or we cannot realize its essence that cannot be grasped by the mind (ego), we unknowingly push ourselves in a way that makes things more complicated, and move toward the turning point.
At the same time, no matter what stage of spiritual awakening we are in, we are all constantly cooperating with each other for deeper each spiritual awakening unknowingly, on a level far beyond the mind.
The spiritual challenge for each of us lies where we cannot see that profondity or importance is contained in every experience.
For instance, why would we think we have to help someone else?
Who is making that judgment of necessity?
Through that experience, it is possible that person may ultimately reach the transcendence of duality (the immeasurable unknown that is always there), but where does the arrogance come from to try to take it away through unilateral judgment?
We must ask ourselves those questions.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
All spiritual challenges are not straightforward. That is why they are spiritual challenges, and they shake our awareness of our identification with the mind (ego).
Therefore, we should not worry about the stages of our own spiritual awakening or try to finish them quickly, but treat each one with care.
Having said that, realize the fact that just because you did so, for instance, does not mean that it is a mistake, but that in doing so, not the mind level, the essence tries to grasp the essence of things through that experience.
In fact, each person has their own experiences and timing that they need.
Thus, cherish it.
Never neglect any of your own choices, whether at the mind (ego) level or otherwise.
Because, in every experience, there are hidden treasures to further break the spiritual path.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Ultimately, in a spiritual level, no one can give or receive anything that the mind (ego) thinks it can give or receive.
The only thing one can give or receive is merely oneself.
Through each person’s present way of being, people give or receive something necessary for each person unintentionally.
Nothing more, nothing less.
There is nothing else one can do, and that is why it is the most profound and noble thing for us to not turn away from the problem and to work on the spiritual challenge.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
There is no one outside.
Everyone is you, and every being is always a perfect, impersonal manifestation of God.
Cherish your own spiritual challenges from the heart in order to ultimately know, grasp, and comprehend it. (OM 🙏)
