“Any ‘now’ is OK.”

“Any ‘now’ is OK.”

“ANY ‘NOW’ IS OK.”

Basically, while the complete surrender of the mind (ego) is a prerequisite for becoming aware of The Self, not everyone reaches enlightenment within the limitations of the same way, along the same path, the same pace, or this lifetime.

Just as each of us has our own spiritual assignment, each of us has a different process, and the depth to which each of us reaches in this life (the distance to nirvana) depends on how deeply each of us can face ourselves.

In fact, there are several stages of spiritual awakening, and the moment of transcendence of duality, for instance, is not the end point of spiritual awakening, and the depth from that point forward can vary as well.

In addition to the fact that the mind (ego) does not disappear with the transcendence of duality, the fear and attachment of the mind (ego) and the degree of detachment from the mind (ego) have a great deal to do with it, and at the same time, it is, in a sense, a choice at a level of consciousness far beyond the individual as well, and moreover, ultimately, it is also a state in which nothing is happening at all.

In this way, “spiritual awakening” can manifest itself in a variety of ways.

And yet, there is no error or failure in any of them.

It can say that the “just now,” this moment in which time and space do not exist, is all there is, and it means that no difference between the fact that everything is present in this “just now” and at the same time, that nothing is happening at all.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Ultimately, there is only one consciousness and personal experiences are actually nowhere to found, nevertheless, no one can reach enlightenment and beyond by ignoring individual experiences and each spiritual assignments.

Yet, the mind (ego) tends to remain attached to various conditions and actions, such as gaining knowledge, doing spiritual things for a long time, receiving guidance from a great guru, etc., and to the mind (ego) itself, which becomes a stumbling block and prevents us from realizing how far we are from actual enlightenment, and yet the mind can not be even aware of this fact.

That is to say, our identification with the mind (ego) or the body, and ignorance of the Self are so deeply ingrained as well as intertwined with so many things in our unconscious.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Self-observation and self-inquiry is the process of peeling away one by one the invisible veils (identification with the mind (ego) and ignorance) that have seeped deep into such unconsciousness.

The motivation for this is a genuine curiosity to comprehend more profoundly about the truth, The Self, or essence, and a very transparent longing that comes from a deeper level, different from the desires of the mind (ego).

For instance, “How in the world is this being caused?,” “What is the source of it?” It all starts with such genuine curiosity to the unknown, and the joy of discovering the previously unseen (the liberation that comes with awareness at a very deep level, and the quiet joy that accompanies it) is endless.

The genuine curiosity to comprehend the essence of things and the pure longing without doership, continue to arise without ever disappearing and no matter what we do or where we are, without any will or intention to self-observation and self-inquiry, it begins spontaneously with a sense of discomfort in one’s own words or actions, or with a realization of something unknown, and come to end when one gets the answer one needs at that moment. It often even make us forget about food, clothing, and shelter and become immersed in it totally for hours and hours.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

In the process of doing so, a moment of transcending the great invisible barrier (transcendence of duality) will come, at some unknown and unexpected moment.

The truth that we realize at that moment – that “now” is everything without end or beginning, the perfection of it, the unfathomable profundity of ultimate love, the complete disappearance of the individual, the existence of absolute reality, etc. – all this is accompanied by a tremendously deep awe and a quiet joy that envelops the whole body, so that it is actually a world of immeasurable and profound abundance that no words can fully express.

This “enlightenment” fundamentally transforms us into a completely different and irreversible state of awareness.

For instance…

⚫︎ The perceptual and cognitive realm expands tremendously, to an extent that the mind (ego) cannot even imagine.

In fact, it is only then that we realize, by the expansion, how could not the mind (ego) perceive before, and how much it can never reach, no matter how hard it tried, and are so astonished at the size of the difference, And through this expansion, we naturally become aware of things that the mind (ego) would never notice, and we are able to observe the interactive relationships among various phenomena and the influence of the collective consciousness as a natural occurrence.

⚫︎ No no longer compare ourselves to anything.

We will no longer be comparing or judging ourselves with anyone else and before, and also categorize ourselves, as the mind (ego) has done before.

⚫︎ “Now” is all there is.

Because we come to grasp at a deep level about it, no matter what phenomena appear before us, we will no longer try to change anything or do anything for the future, as is seen in the law of success for the mind (ego). Such actions, such a future to be changed by will power, are merely illusions of the mind (ego), and for the expanded awareness, such matters no longer have any meaning. Once we have done what we can do now, we are left to surrender completely to the unknown, and our trust in the unknown grows even more in the simplicity of what we need to do next, what we need to face, etc., as they inevitably appear before our eyes.

⚫︎ “Personal I” disappears.

The previously normal “personal sense of ‘I’” disappears from within, so that when we speak, we (temporarily) cannot use the word “(personal) I” at all, or, conversely, when we use the word “I,” there is no longer a “personal I,” and so we come to express like, “I am me and at the same time I am not me (which means “I am that I am”), because there is no “personal me” anymore.

⚫︎ Come to listen more than ever to the voiceless voice behind people’s words and expressions.

When we converse with others, we listen the voiceless voices behind their words and expressions (the voice from their essence) and begin more to hear that inner voice. This is because, as with anyone, there is often a gap between the person’s awareness and the facts, and if we are caught up in superficial words and expressions (what the person is aware of), we will not be able to see anything important or hear what we really need to hear.

In fact, when we listen to the person in that way, it naturally happens that the person cries out of a sense of relief, or that their way of being changes drastically afterwards.

Without trying to change or help the person, they are naturally saved on their own and come to stand up by themselves with more trust in higher self.

All that time we offer then is pure acceptance and trust in the higher self (the unknown far beyond the individual, its guidance), which is only possible through the absence of the “personal I”.

⚫︎ Become grateful for everything.

We become grateful that nothing is independent of itself, and yet everything is interconnected, that every person we encounter is ourselves, and that we are encountering them as an opportunity to become aware of our remaining mind (ego) attachments, and so on. So we become grateful for them as they are, and come to learn from them thankfully.

In other words, we realize that there is nothing but opportunity to purely realize, and that there is nothing other than ourselves (divinity).

In this way, we will be filled with awe about the immensity of the unknown, the never-ending profundity, and the pure appreciation of the unknown of the One Consciousness, the Ultimate Love.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

In spiritual awakening, the transcendence of duality occupies the most important place in terms of clearly recognizing the illusion of relative duality, the source of all suffering, and the awareness of the true Self, the Divine Self.

However, the actual spiritual awakening does not stop there. In addition to the constant observation of the mind (ego) that never disappears, the more we clear each of our spiritual assignments (toward nirvana), the more we eventually come to face the fact that even our commitment with non-duality is nothing but separation and distinction.

It leads us to the point, even the question of whether to be in duality or non-duality ultimately becomes meaningless at all.

At the moment, all separation and distinction disappears totally and forever.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Any “now” is nothing but perfection.

Cherish everything about how you are and where you are. (OM 🙏)
