“What is needed is experimentation and verification.”

“WHAT IS NEEDED IS EXPERIMENTATION AND VERIFICATION.”

If we are truly committed to spiritual awakening, we must actually repeat the process of experimentation and verification ourselves.

The biggest indicator of this process is that a fundamental transformation must occur spontaneously from within, so that there are no more problems in our lives or in our relationships.

For that, it is necessary to stop trying to change the world or people (including oneself), and to focus on oneself thoroughly, without pretending that there are no problems, and yet without getting caught up in the problems.

Then, at the point where the mind (ego) is completely detached (innermost stillness, i.e., absence of judgment completely), and based on the wisdom gained and the facts as they are through pure self-observation and self-inquiry, we repeat experiments and verification.

For instance, “What does true humility look like that is not mere doership?”, “What is unconditional love?”, “How is it possible to be in a state of forgiveness where no contradictions occur within?”, “How does it mean to remain there?”, or “When do I let the mind (ego) take control of my life?”, “What is the feeling of being out of alignment with the essence?”, etc., one by one, paying close attention to the changes within oneself, and clarifying the difference between the way of the mind (ego) and the essence.

As a matter of fact, this self-focus unintentionally can keep oneself away from various things that actually hinder the path to God, such as seeking enlightenment as a desire of the mind (ego), deceiving oneself as if one has attained enlightenment through knowledge, or self-suggesting that one has approached God through some rituals. And simultaneously, it also strengthens the connection to the innermost stillness, which is essential for the deepening of spiritual awakening, and furthermore, the more sincerely we repeat them, the more we will naturally improve concentration, and unknowingly, we will enter deeper and deeper into the deepest stillness, as the core of being.

What this means is that one day we will reach the transcendence of duality, that is, we will be complete selflessness.

In other words, it means creating opportunities, due to no doership, that would otherwise not be possible (i.e., without surrendering the mind/ego).

In this way, by clarifying and following ways of being that are truly in line with the essence one by one, the discrepancies between our words and actions and inner way of being will inevitably disappear, and thereby, even the suffering that can be possible before will disappear.

The inner fundamental transformation that takes place in this way, without any intention, can come to be clearly appeared in life and relationships (the law of cause and effect).

This is why it is said that reality is only a reflection of inner being.

In this way, finding and following the way of being as the essence through the above experiments and verifications is so-called the path to God.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Just because we have acquired spiritual knowledge or have performed some rituals, we cannot actually know anything about them.

We still remain ignorant.

This “ignorance = not knowing the divine Self”cannot be wiped out by any external factor.

On the contrary, to get rid of “Ignorance = Not Knowing Self (God)” means to actually and unexpectedly free oneself, self-awareness, from its invisible bondage of the mind (ego) by direct inner awareness (enlightenment), not by any prior knowledge, and by doing so, our own words and actions are fundamentally transformed from being controlled by the mind (ego) to that of the ultimate reality.

For instance, no one can know without actually swimming, about what it is like to swim or what it feels like.

Knowing is such an essential thing, and it is true in all matters.

That is why it is essential for each of us to realize what we really need to know about oneself through self-observation and self-inquiry in innermost stillness, and to experiment and verify based on that knowledge.

To use the analogy of swimming, we get to learn the essence of swimming by experimenting with various ways of swimming and verifying, without relying on any prior knowledge, what changes appear as a result of such experimentation.

In fact, paradoxically, when we regard ourselves as “knowing something,” we not only lose the opportunity to become aware of our identification with the mind (ego), even though the subject of that identification is the mind (ego), but it is nothing other than to exclude from within oneself the blank space (possibility of the unknown) that is necessary to actually know something new (to know the unknown), and to actually close off the path to the truth oneself.

Therefore, humbly acknowledging the fact of ignorance, or the limitation of the mind (ego), is the first and foremost important element in spiritual awakening.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

So, why do these limitations as ignorance are created within us?

We are all first build within ourselves a base of separation which is enhanced by visual information, which is needed in society as well, of identification with the Mind (ego).

While this allows us to awaken to the Self as the journey of life, it also, along with the oblivion (complete ignorance of the Self) of completely forgetting that we are the Self itself, shrink a realm of perception and cognition to ‘personal I,’ to the point that we become to hardly notice even simple facts.

In fact, this is why problems are inevitable in the relative duality that Mind (ego) sees.

Therefore, the reason why problems occur in the world one after another is not because there is “evil” somewhere, or because certain people are not trying enough, or because individuals lack something important to them as a person, but only because each is always the best of each, but our self-awareness is shrunk to that of ‘personal I,’ and therefore, inevitably, the sphere of perception and cognition is also limited to the ‘personal I,’ or those close to us at best.

On the other hand, when any one of us truly awakens to the Self (breaks free from ignorance), the realm of perception and cognition that was previously limited by the mind (ego) is naturally liberated, not only expanding to an unimaginable to the mind (ego) and deepening far beyond the reach of will power or any effort of the mind (ego), but also becoming free of any limitations (literally no limitations of time or space). Therefore, it’s not only as a result of self-awareness, but we, as the essence, become able to observe the world from different angles and even from different dimensions, and so any problems inevitably disappear.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Use each of the present moment carefully and for the sake of the essence (of your own awareness).

If you really long to realize it with all your being.

Because, you are the only one who can do it.

And moreover, if you are not yet sure about it, remember that that’s OK, and embracing the present moment one by one carefully with all your heart and soul.

Because we all have our own right timing for anything. Don’t worry about anything in life. (OM 🙏)
