“BEING READY.”
A person who is ready to learn, no matter where one is – even if one never meets anyone, whether one goes somewhere or not, or spends time with the same people – continues to learn more and more deeply by gaining new insights (spiritual awareness).
Nevertheless, the person says, “I know nothing,” and is always humble and sincere about everything. One is satisfied with who one is “now,” and the gratitude and compassion toward others never disappear.
On the other hand, a person who is not yet ready, no matter how sublime sage one may be under or how many years one may spend there, will never gain new insights, and also realize any profundity of truth, or oneself (Self or Mind (ego)).
Nevertheless, the person borrows the name of a sage or speaks the words of a sage, saying, “I learned directly from a great sage for XX,” or “I know more than XX,” as if it were one’s own achievement. But such the ego-filled lives are filled with all sorts of complaints and unhappiness.

The spiritual path toward the most sublime heights as pure essence opens only before the former.
And this “being ready” is not any limited surrender such as only to a special person, but “total surrender of the mind (ego) to the Higher-Self, Divine, Absolute Reality, whatever we call it, or even to everyone.” (OM 🙏)
