“EGO’S CLAIMS.”

The ego claims, “I know this,” “I have done this,” “This is more correct for XXX,” “I must add XXX to this…,” “A great sage said XXX,” “I am special and different from others,” “I have many qualifications related to XXX,” and so on.

The ego not only claims how much it knows or has done right, how special it is, but it desperately clings to these claims because it perceives itself as separated and isolated individual from essence, divinity, and consciousness itself.

However, the deepening of spiritual awakening can become possible only when the natural humility of the open heart that is created by surrendering (discarding) each of these egos, creating a pure space within for accessing universal wisdom and receiving those wisdoms with sincerity.

Without this purity, humility, and sincerity of being, there can never be a deepening of spiritual awakening.

This is because the deepening of spiritual awakening is never something that the mind (ego) can achieve.

In fact, if one’s spiritual awakening is truly deepened, one will no more claim what is right, how spiritually awakened one is, and so on. Because one comes to comprehend that in the relative duality the mind (ego) sees, there is no truth other than that “all is always right in its own way.”

Therefore, if, on the contrary, we are forever attached to such claims, it means that we are clearly out of the way of deepening spiritual awakening. In other words, we are very likely, in a state of deception (falling into the ego’s trap) due to the doership of the mind (ego) that thinks it knows something, or we are avoiding facing directly at facts out of some fear, or etc.

Thus, the mind (ego) judging what we have done and how much we have done has nothing to do with the deepening of spiritual awakening, and under such mind’s (ego’s) doership, we will never even be able to access universal wisdom.

If we look at these states from another angle, due to arrogance and negligence born of unconscious ignorance (ego) and even fear-based laziness, there is only an uneasy appearance of the essence of humanity, the divinity that far beyond the individual, has been unknowingly left far behind, deep inside, so deep that even the faintest whisper of it cannot reach the heart.

The purpose of our life is to shrug off such the ego’s claims and find once again within the essence, the divinity, that has been left far deep inside with fear caused by optical illusion.

That’s everything, and whoever we are, whatever and however we have been doing until now, we as the essence, can always be back on the path toward more complete liberation, Nirvana (peace, the world of the ultimate love, heaven, so to speak) as deepening spiritual awakening by changing our own choices at the present moment.
