“EVENTUALLY”

Enlightenment, transcendence, or liberation do not mean that, by reaching them, the mind can live a life without anxiety and enjoy it to the fullest.

Furthermore, they are not attainable by the mind, and even one lifetime.

In fact, achieving any of these things does not make the mind easy, nor does it make the mind proud of itself, but rather, unlike all the concepts and images that the mind envisions, all spiritual things are encountered by one totally renounces the mind. Moreover, it has been reincarnated many times, not just by a lifetime, and is being worked on toward its achievement for beyond the awareness of the mind.

Therefore, sooner or later, the true seeker will eventually come to realize that the mind envisions, such as by achieving them quickly one can become a full-fledged person, and then one make some contribution to humanity, or become a force to save the earth, etc., are nothing more than a delusion of relative duality by the mind.

Moreover, one will eventually realize that achieving any of them does not make one special in any way.

Rather, unless we carefully observe each of the various emotional experiences and illusions that we experience during the time to reach that point, and clearly clarify the source of each of them one by one, none of us will ever actually be led to enlightenment, transcendence, or liberation, nor will we be able to come to have true compassion for the people we encounter during that process.

Because when the mind disregards the process, one will not be able to realize the self in the process, will not accept the self as it is, will not even cultivate the depth as a person through it, and so even if it comes time to know the self, it will dismiss it as mistake, by the mind that takes control of one’s life with identification of the mind, and inevitably dismisses others’s in the same way.

Thus, the mind that merely collects various concepts and images of spiritual matters as knowledge, by its shallowness and ignorance, will instantly cut the sorrow or pain which people are suffering in two as useless, by virtue of its relative duality of values, which are no different from those that have been used towards itself as usual. In this way, the mind will confirm its own righteousness or superiority each time, but will even throw away the opportunity unknowingly that one realizes the fact.

On the other hand, the true seeker will eventually come to realize that the present moment is everything, and as one carefully savors it one by one, one will always be playing a role in this life somehow as consciousness itself, even if one does not intend it.

Even if they do not know what that role is or what contribution they are making, all beings are influencing each other to spiritually awaken more deeply at the present moment.

As a matter of fact, at the mind level, we are told as if there are events and relationships to avoid, but there are in fact no such thing to avoid at all at the spiritual level.

There is always something to be learned for each of us in every event, in every relationship. Otherwise, we would never meet the event or engage the people.

Things just happen the way they happen, and there is no meaning in them.

Nevertheless, for each mind, everything is not just a phenomenon, but they are the spiritual assignments of each through various distorted perception of the mind, and thereby it becomes different experience and different reality for each of us.

Therefore, in fact, what is assumed or postulated at the mind level is not only of no use at the spiritual level, but is often counterproductive and only an obstacle.

But even these counterproductive effects and obstacles can become necessary for the deepening of spiritual awakening, that is, for opening heart fully, even if it is transient.

Eventually, the true seeker will realize.

That all things, nothing will change. And at the same time, that everything is changeable.

Secret conflicts driven by ego, competitions to see who is the best, various kinds of suffering, impatience, fear, or loneliness, caused by them illusory love as approval and connection that are desperately needed, and identification with such minds and bodies, justify war and the taking human life in the name of law, even though the laws may change with the time. The world that such the mind sees and experiences remains nothing change, while at the same time everything is transient and changing.

Meanwhile, it is only by observing the facts as they are in the innermost stillness, completely detach from the mind’s attachment to relative duality, that each of us can after all comprehend the principle of things and gain universal wisdom, which will gradually enable us to make the choice to continue to renounce the mind, and our own way of perception of things, and even awareness of ourselves, changes.

Only such state of awareness, where mind does not exist completely, God will ultimately be able to manifest.

Only then, when we as consciousness itself which is far beyond the individual, see the world, will we realize that behind, in depths of the painful, sad, even ridiculous world by the mind, there is always and simultaneously a divine world by the consciousness itself, and that all existence is always the Divine Self.

At the mind level, we unconsciously project our own image onto others, interpreting their words and actions while at the same time criticizing ourselves according to the same values and forcing ourselves to be the way we should be, while at the spiritual level, we are always one existence, one absolute reality as one consciousness, and after all, at either level, we are always one.

Then we finally realize that everything is always perfect, and nothing needs to be changed at all.

Nothing even needs to be done about oneself.

Furthermore, we will even realize that nothing is actually happening as well.

Then, eventually, duality and even non-duality are melted into one, and we will only be in nirvana-salvation, as form is emptiness and simultaneously emptiness is form.

There is no need to rush about.

For instance, the fact that someone seems to be spiritually awakened sooner than you is not an indication of that someone’s excellence at all. It is simply an illusion of the mind, and your spiritual assignment is to go beyond that illusion.

Furthermore, that someone is not an individual separated from you, but as only one consciousness, it has been deepening spiritual awakening that led to there in previous life, more previous life, or even much more previous life, and that someone is actually also impersonal yourself that is far beyond the individual.

No matter which stage of spiritual awakening we are in, each way of being always plays some role, which is necessary for consciousness itself to savor the process of whole game of spiritual awakening.

So now, rather than rushing to become someone else, clarify where that impatience comes from.

For this, the first thing any of us needs is the innermost stillness. And in that complete stillness, we must deepen our self-observation and self-inquiry inwardly and inwardly.

And in the meanwhile, if life becomes painful too much and unbearable, do not pray to some distant deity, separated from you, for “help me,” or “please do something,” but to the Higher Self, the unknown, as inseparable from you, for “help me to calm down.”

That prayer will surely lead you to innermost stillness.

In this way, we will unknowingly surrender the mind.

In fact, this is how surrendering of mind is accomplished.

As a matter of fact, whatever the mind’s intended action, as doership, creates only new illusions or self-deception.

Because of the Mind itself is an illusion.

After all, it’s not searching for the only correctness the mind can believe, such as “Whose word should believe?,” but rather, it is necessary for each of us to liberate ourselves from the shackles by the mind by transcending illusions of the mind, one by one, while following the guidance of consciousness itself.

On the other hand, if we pursue only correctness out of fear, we will only keep to be trapped in the knowns of the mind, we will never deepen actual spiritual awakening, or expanding world in any way, let alone we will never be able to touch ultimate love and to realize the true Self, which is absolute reality.
