“REALITY, THE REASON WHY IT IS CALLED AN ILLUSION.”
No one can say that simply acquiring knowledge is comprehension of it.
Just as even a good exam result is useless unless we can actually apply that knowledge in our life, no spiritual wisdom can become as truth unless we comprehend its essence by actually applying it in our life.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
There is only one Absolute Reality, God, Consciousness itself, which is in non-duality.
There is no comparison to one is superior and other is inferior, no separation to punish one and to give a reward to other, and no past or future, only the “now” of this moment, which is all there is, exists far beyond the individual level.
And this absolute reality never changes, no matter how differently the self or reality is perceived at the individual (mind, ego) level.
This means that everything always exists as absolute reality, as God, as consciousness itself, as ultimate love.
What this means is that the “now” is always perfect and complete, and there is nothing to be improved or refined in any way.
When we are in this non-duality, we can not perceive any problems (in fact, it is impossible) and we have no need any changes on the outside.
In other words, when we find some difficult or a problem appears on the outside (e.g., someone appears who is difficult to deal with, we find ourselves in a troubling situation, or we perceive a society that needs to be managed or controlled), it is not because the problem is actually on the outside, but because we ourselves are separated from the absolute reality, and it means that is where the spiritual assignment lies for each of us.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
The mind lives in the stubborn belief that there is only one world to see and feel, and that everyone sees and feels the same world, or that is what everyone should see.
Therefore, they almost believe and no doubt that it is necessary for them how to be right, to correct mistakes in everyone, including itself, to tell everyone the righteousness, and that it is the only way to bring about love and peace to the world.
However, these are actually only a small part of the whole, perceived by the manifest mind, which is said to be less than 10% of our consciousness, and they are not only aware of the fact that there are so many other things that exist at the same time, that there are not actually perceived by the subconscious, unconscious mind, which is said to be over 90% of our consciousness, but they are also not aware that how influences on their perception by the unconsciousness.
Furthermore, what the mind (ego) calls reality is actually a manifestation of the totality of each manifest and subconscious mind, and can never be an absolute reality, because it is merely a phenomenon by the unconscious mind’s (ego’s) projections, interpretations, and values, which can be changed in any way. In addition, what is perceived as reality for the mind changes depending on each person’s spiritual assignment and the stage of spiritual awakening as well, and therefore, it is impossible for this reality to be able to be the same for everyone, and there are actually ten different strokes for different folks.
Next, there is a stage in which the mind (ego) that has realized the relationship between the manifest and subconscious mind changes reality by rewriting the subconscious mind, and by utilizing the potential of the human body to its maximum extent, achieves what is generally called success, and becomes intoxicated with that world of material wealth. However, the subject at this stage is still mostly mind (ego), and reality is easily changeable.
Eventually, as the true seeker actually deepens their self-observation and self-inquiry through innermost stillness, there comes a moment when, without intending it, they unexpectedly transcend duality. At that moment, they inevitably experience non-duality, the absolute immutable reality, and at the same time, for the first time, they become deeply aware of the illusion of duality that the mind has been seeing.
Yet, they are still often influenced by the unconscious mind (ego), and its absolute reality is not stable and still changeable.
However, in addition to the fact that what the mind (ego) calls reality is changeable in every respect, we begin to realize that the basic premise that this mind (ego) is ourselves still remains deep within us, and that this is in fact the assumption as the beginning of all illusions in the first place.
As we will experience in the process leading up to this point, actual spiritual awakening and liberation will deepen by becoming aware of our own “unconsciousness.” Conversely, without this awareness, no one can ever achieve liberation, let alone enlightenment.
Thus, one by one we comprehend that what we used to call reality is, in fact, nothing more than an illusion, and we continue toward complete liberation through daily self-observation and self-inquiry at the innermost stillness, through acceptance and liberation.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Thus, it is when we are able to realize how unfounded what we call reality is only when we surrender our unconscious assumptions and beliefs and when the reality actually begins to change, and furthermore, when we become aware that we are actually holding those unconscious assumptions and beliefs, is only when we can leave the mind (ego), dive deep within ourselves, and observe the facts as they really are, in the complete innermost stillness.
This complete stillness is, literally, total stillness. For instance, when we are observing our own and other’s words and actions and judging whether they are good or bad, whether they are done well or not, etc., even if we are in a quiet place with no external sounds, we are still in the noise of the mind, which is not stillness at all.
In that state, no one can ever observe the facts as they are, because no one can avoid the influence of the unconscious mind’s (ego’s) projection, interpretation, or application of egotistical values, which is said to over 90% of our consciousness.
Each of us must first find within ourselves a place of complete stillness, where no mind (ego) influence can ever reach. There, of course, there is no judgment attached in observation, because there is no influence of the mind (ego).
Only when we are able to observe the facts there as they are, can we humbly become aware of how the mind (ego) is arrogant and selfish. Only then does humility naturally emerge from within us, and with that humility, we are able to leave the doer role of playing the good person under the manifest mind, which is less than 10 % of our consciousness, and become truly humble as essence.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
All is happening only for spiritual awakening of each of us, to become aware of our own unconsciousness and return to the essence.
Aside from being aware of the illusions that the mind (ego) sees, it is significant for our spiritual awakening to be aware of the obvious difference between the mind (ego), which creates various illusions and the essence, and furthermore, the ultimate immutable reality, which is always observing all of these things outside the realm of the mind’s awareness as well, that is the essence, the Self, consciousness itself, and it has no problem whatsoever in its own right.
And this whole process of spiritual awakening, of realizing and living the Self, which is beyond the limits of time, even this one life, is the journey that the essence, the one and only consciousness, is on, and the purpose of it all.
Every separate, individual, perceived being is somewhere in this process, and at the same time, far beyond its awareness, always exists as an absolute reality.
In other words, it is not you or anyone else or any phenomenon that needs to be changed, but the mind’s perception of itself, the way it perceives itself and other people, which is influenced by unconscious assumptions and beliefs, etc., and which in the end, what we call reality of the mind, which can be changed in any way, is merely an illusion.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Lastly, it is important to remember that mind (ego) can not transcend duality or liberate.
Liberation is our awareness return to the essence and align with the consciousness itself, far beyond the individual, away from the various illusions that appear before us as if the separated mind (ego) is real, and also away from its identification.
There is no room there for the mind (ego).
However, if there is any kind of obsession or attachment, it means that there is a spiritual assignment there for that person, and it is necessary for whoever to face it beyond fear.
While doing so, every single one of us is unknowingly influencing each other, and there is nothing good or bad about the influences at any stage (ultimately, everything is always for deepening spiritual awakening).
It is necessary for each of us to step away from all judgment and focus on observing only the facts from the innermost stillness. (OM 🙏)
