“DEVELOP THE HABIT OF ASKING YOURSELF.”
At all times, develop the habit of asking ourselves, “Where did that come from?” for everything we say or do.
If possible, do this before taking action, and if you are not able to do that before action, then in addition to your daily self-observation, self-inquiry begins to deepen from there, with that question.
By digging deep ourselves into our own deep psychology in this way, we can clarify whether our words and actions are coming from the mind (comparison and judgment with the known, or criticism of others, or etc.), or whether they are the spacious universal wisdom that we gain from innermost stillness, or whether it is useful facts we realized from that stillness and for alignment of ourselves with the essence, and so on.
Being in alignment with the essence is to detach ourselves from doer-ship and the mind as a doer, and to be with innermost stillness, which will in turn inevitably lead us to service to God, true service through self-sacrifice-free devotion.
When we are in such this void of judgment-free, innermost complete stillness, we savor freedom in its unfathomable vastness.
Furthermore, if we continue to be in alignment with the essence, and continuing self-observation, we will be able to know ourselves more deeply each day, and we will also be able to gain universal wisdom to liberate more ourselves from the mind that has still trapped in something.
And if we are able to sublimate the ego by clarifying its patterns and acknowledging the facts as they are, in this way, we will be able to transform ourselves into a natural state where deeper compassion comes up from within for others as they are, as well. Because we unknowingly see ourselves onto others, even in the duality by the mind.
Thus, we will naturally deepen devotion itself, and this egoless devotion will unintentionally and inevitably deepen service to God. (OM 🙏)
