“HOW TO DEEPEN YOUR ACTUAL SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.”
First and foremost, find total innermost stillness.
Then, observe your every word and action as they really are, without any judgment and without any interpretation.
To consider ego as bad, or to consider spiritual awakening as good, or to feel proud of knowing noble things, or to worship those whom you consider as noble, or to be ashamed of what you do not know, or to despise those whom you consider they do not know, or whatsoever are all the tricks and trap of the ego, and that’s the identification of the self with mind (ego), namely the identification with false-self.
And that is the illusion.
Therefore, we have to learn to leave it.
To do this, do not disguise yourself as if you know truth by twisting the logic of various spiritual ideas and concepts in your mind, instead, actually inquire the depths of your self and trial and error of self-observing and self-inquiring itself.
Where there is an ego that wants to boast about how much it knows or how enlightened it is, or whatsoever, there is no truth, let alone true wisdom.
This is because truth and wisdom, because of its non-dual nature, can never be understood by the ego, which lives in relative duality.
Therefore, when we actually come in contact with the truth, we will no longer be able to come to say that we “know” it because of its indescribably unfathomableness, vastness, and profoundness.
Furthermore, since there is no “individual” in the non-duality, there will be no more “I,” “My,” “mine,” etc. in awareness that were used before, while we are spiritually awake.
That said, except during the still remaining unconscious sleep.
Or, even if one who is spiritually awake were to use the word “I,” there would be no individual there any more. And of course, there will no more insist to “correctness” of any kind.
Despite such facts, the ego keeps insisting that it is different from others, and that it understands truth, and can never be aware of the fact of ignorance by the unconscious ego.
In other words, when we insist on “correctness”or use “I,” “My,” or “Mine” in a personal sense, its subject is ego, never the consciousness itself, so to speak.
Therefore, no matter how much the ego traces the words of sages or how much it disguises to be right, it will never become its own wisdom, nor will it ever be able to actually “know” it.
Rather, we must make many mistakes and trial and error by our own.
Because it is through the realization of our own mistakes that we can make other choices and actually deepen our own spiritual awakening.
Thus, if you are afraid of making mistakes, or you are waiting for what you think is the optimum timing, clarify why you are afraid of making mistakes, why you are trying to wait for the optimum timing, the source of your thoughts and unfounded beliefs by self-inquiry.
Or if you have a desire to know the truth better than anyone else, clarify why you want to gain wisdom so badly and what deficiency you try to compensate for by gaining it by self-inquiry.
It is in those areas that we have our own set of spiritual assignments that hearts long to clear. In facing that own spiritual assignment head-on, never making excuses for it, and engaging in it sincerely, humbly, and egolessly, we will naturally find the key that will inevitably open the door to the next.
And that’s the treasure, that will deepen the spiritual awakening of each of us.
If we can truly find it, we will be able to embrace such an ego with deep compassion, and unconditional acceptance of the ego at that time will not only bring us one sure liberation from the ego, but will also bring us closer to an egoless essence that can have the same compassion for others, thus bringing us one more step closer to Oneness.
In this way, if we can truly and purely observe ourselves, we will humbly be able to realize that we need to take some necessary actions, no matter how painful or difficult, that we would never have considered necessary before (including actually stopping what we have been doing), and then we will actually be able to take action as well.
When we do this, it is actually we are on the certain spiritual path where being led by the purest essence, consciousness itself, the Self, the Higher Self.
This is the path of deepening spiritual awakening.
At that time, we will no longer be aware of being an “individual.”
If there is, it is precisely the ego, so merely detach awareness from that ego, leave away from falseness, illusion of mind. (OM 🙏)
