“THE FUNCTION OF THE BRAIN AND THE DEEPENING OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.”
Our brain has a natural function of discarding and selecting information from mere phenomena, gathering only information related to the matters of which we are most conscious at the time.
This function is to prevent brain exhaustion due to information overload, but on the other hand, what we are “most conscious at” is far beyond the realm of our awareness and is at the subconscious level.
This is, in fact, the very thing that ego’s obsession as separated individual which is still attached with us, and these unconscious egos, unaware beliefs and assumptions are unknowingly projected and reflected and materialized as the (illusory) reality that the mind sees as it is.
And this is the part that we identify with other than essence, the spiritual assignment of each of us in this life, and also the reason why when we who have not yet attained liberation are faced with mere phenomena, each of us perceives different (illusory) realities, that is, different matters.
Therefore, our spiritual awakening will deepen only when we ourselves, through self-observation and self-inquiry in the innermost stillness, actually cause within ourselves the liberation, as sublimation of ego through acknowledge and acceptance of the facts as they are (i.e., by completing each spiritual assignment one by one).
Conversely, if the liberation of each of the spiritual assignment of this life does not actually occur within, no matter how much we try to believe in the truth, or how long we do spiritual things as a doer, or how conveniently our mind interprets as if we were already awakened spiritually, the reality that always reflects our assumptions and beliefs as they are (illusions) will keep to appear as the same illusory reality forever and ever, until the source is clarified and sublimated by awareness.
In other words, no matter how much we can cleverly fool our manifest mind with the mind, no one can control our subconscious.
Thus, although we cannot directly control our brain activity, through self-observation and self-inquiry in the innermost stillness, but when we can come to an awareness and acceptance of the facts as they are, it can lead to integration, the activation of the entire brain.
Through this integration, until then, although the left brain, which is the main active area of the mind, which had been dominated by the development of reason and had become more active, and at the same time, it had caused that the activity of cooperation with the right brain, or the activity of the right brain itself, had restricted, but the entire brain can for the first become utilized in a more balanced manner.
In other words, the brain will be able to function more as wholeness comprehensively and simultaneously, not only with the left brain and not only with the right brain.
And this also becomes the manifestation as a depth of comprehension of all things, a deeper perception of things as a whole, due to spiritual awakening.
Therefore, spiritual awakening is not only the activation of the pineal gland, which is called the third eye, but also the activation of the entire brain as whole.

Did you know that top athletes achieve their best results when they are so focused that they completely shut out the outside world (so-called “being in complete stillness”), yet their bodies and minds are at their most relaxed?
The same is true for spiritual awakening.
When we actually find the innermost stillness, we are able to leave the influence of various mind judgments, which in turn leads to a natural relaxation that allows us to deepen our self-observation and self-inquiry in a more effortless and pure way.
In this way, through practice of self-observation and self-inquiry in the innermost stillness without effort, we naturally also increase our ability in concentration, which eventually leads to a moment of transcendence of stillness (void) itself.
So, first and foremost, we must find innermost stillness.
The more we find it and are able to self-observe in that total innermost stillness, the more we will be able to have a deep trust in our Higher Self, the Unknown, that we are indeed being guided on the path of spiritual awakening, without even the endorsement of any authority, or any interpretation by our own mind, for instance.

There is no need to be ashamed of ourselves or to fear anything.
Whatever awareness of ourselves we may be in now, we are far beyond the individual, nothing but consciousness, ultimate love.
We can only become aware of this truth through self-observation and self-inquiry in the stillness within, and in the mindless state of, not care about even this life, that is, through the complete surrendering of mind.
In that stillness, we can become aware that the ego is merely a sign to help us find our way back to the essence, and thereby we do not fight or control it, but only returning to the non-dual consciousness as the essence far beyond the individual, without any intention by the mind.
In this way, in fact, one by one, the illusions also disappear from the illusory reality mind sees as the mind itself disappears, until there remains only a simple truth, absolute reality. (OM 🙏)
