“THE SPIRITUAL ASSIGNMENT TO THE NON-DUALITY.”
The non-dual world can only be comprehended by those who listen (read) words through innermost stillness, and thereby they will also be able to be guided into the non-dual world itself.
This is because the non-dual world is impossible to understand through the mind’s known knowledge, as a dimension that is totally different from the relative duality symbolized by separation that the mind sees, and where there is no separation at all, as no distinction between “I” and others, or nothing to judge something as good or bad.
For instance, even if using the same word “love,” its scope and depth of what the nondual “love” represents is so broad and profound that it is completely incomparable to that of the dual the mind knows.
Therefore, that’s why we can be guided into the unknown as non-duality by quietly listening to the innermost stillness deep within ourselves, rather than trying to understand it by definitions of words or concepts.
In other words, through its impersonal words, that is through universal wisdom, sage offers us, who are trying to grasp the truth, the opportunity to listen to the innermost stillness within and connect with essence.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
Facts viewed from a non-dual perspective can sometimes be heard (or read) as personal denial or criticism for those who still identifies the self with something else other than essence, and then they reactively reject it or feel as if the faintest hope were shattered.
However, it is significant to remember that no matter how something is expressed in any way, there is no other person behind it.
As a matter of fact, we unknowingly see in everything a spiritual assignment that each of us needs to clear through the words and deeds of others or through visible phenomena, or contrary, we find in it a reason to foster the illusions of the Mind, and we postpone working on that assignment.
But none of us can come closer to the profundity of truth without clearing each of spiritual assignment.
We always have experiences that include the spiritual assignment that each of us needs to clear, where we are, and in the relationships with the people we are involved with.
Therefore, in other words, the more we surrender trying to awaken or become someone, and the more we devote ourselves to the present, the more we learn the lesson we need to learn at the most spiritual level, and the closer we can steadily come to the profundity of truth.
And eventually, we will encounter the ultimate reality that is beyond any interpretation, and we will simply come to live it by liberation.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
The spiritual assignment is always in the present.
The reactions that occur within us, directly or indirectly, in our relationships with those with whom we interact in the present, are the entry point to the spiritual assignment for each of us.
In order to truly deepen our spiritual awakening through these assignment, through observing our reactions and events as they are from the innermost stillness that is not influenced any judgement, we need to find our own unfounded beliefs and assumptions as the source of our reactions and be aware of its unnecessaryness. This will naturally lead us to a spontaneous surrender of the beliefs and assumptions effortlessly.
Thus, the same staying in the innermost stillness is needed both what to become aware of the unconscious ego through self-observation, and self-acceptance which is neither ego-control nor ego-fighting, and what to deepen spiritual awakening.
In other words, the self-observation itself in total stillness required for self-acceptance becomes a practice that, by repeating, unintentionally strengthens the natural connection to the innermost stillness and increasing access to universal wisdom, and will eventually be guided to a moment of transcendence of even that stillness.
Therefore, never neglecting the assignment that are now before us, and sincerely facing each one will deepen us spiritually the most and sublimate our ego naturally, leading us quietly to our pure essence.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
In the end, what kind of experience you have is not significant, but how much spiritual learning you learn from that experience is most significant.
In other words, spiritual awakening, the most significance of life is whether you have been aware that your unconscious beliefs and assumptions are mere illusions, and thereby you have truly liberated yourself or not.
The self-observation in the innermost stillness is for what to become aware of such beliefs and assumptions, and self-Inquiry is also to reveal their source.
In this way, we will gradually but inevitably transcend the realm of the “individual” the mind considers as we actually clear our spiritual assignment one by one.
In other words, each clearing of a spiritual assignment is a treasure which each of us needs to find in path to reach the non-duality, and the two are inseparable. (OM 🙏)
