“ROOM FOR POSSIBILITY”

What means that it is important to be humble about the fact that there is always the unknown is that we give ourselves an opportunity to more comprehend deeply something which always includes the “unknown” possibilities.

For instance, when we read a book, if we do not allow ourselves the unknown possibilities, then we will have to be perfect in what we grasped, and ego will never be able to admit a fact that we were mistaken, even if we later discover that we were in fact mistaken. Furthermore, not only that, but we will even be obsessed with the correctness of our own interpretation as what we grasped is correct.

On the other hand, as we are able to recognize our own immaturity of mind (of ego), we can accept as natural that there is always an “unknown” which is more than our current understanding, thereby giving ourselves room for the possibility of further understanding.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

To be spiritually awakened is to realize deeply with the heart that the mind (thought) is the root causing all problems, and thus spontaneously to surrender all of “mind = me” illusion (identification with the mind, ego, body, and everything else we have added to the outside, and also by controlling the mind, as if we were able to solve all problems, etc.), and thereby, is what we inevitably return to the essence, the Self, as God that itself is perfect as Consciousness, the ultimate Love.

This is what is called true humility, which is inevitably manifested as the spiritual awakening deepens. Thus, humility is not at all about treating ourselves as lower than someone who seems to know more than we do, such as mind seems to think.

In this way, in fact, in every respect, the non-dual world, the truth, ultimate love, consciousness, ultimate reality, or all the metaphysical thing is so far beyond the mind’s imagination. Therefore, to give ourselves “room for possibility” that there is always the unknown is to allow ourselves to further deepen spiritual awakening, which is also the most noble kindness to ourselves. And furthermore, the “room for possibilities” will also be able to give us an opportunity to deeper comprehension about the ultimate love.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

So we need to be gentle in ourselves for not being able to grasp everything or solve problems (not being able to let go of the mind) and continue to receive it while pouring love into ourselves as the best we can at the moment.

Because, thereby we all can naturally treat anyone else with the same gentleness and love, even without any control by the mind at all.

On the other hand, the stubborn mind (ego) whose heart remains closed, will always torment not only itself, but also people unconsciously in the same way.

Because it is after all the ego itself, which dislikes the ego due to identifying the self with the ego. And what trying to deny immaturity with obsession with the details by imposing many conditions on the self, the maturity as a whole is adversely hindered, and until we realize this ourselves, we are all forced to be hard on ourselves, and furthermore, the ego’s perception is unconsciously and unavoidably projected on other people.

Or, when we have a grief or other negative emotions that is too deep for us to take on alone, we often keep our hearts tightly closed to protect ourselves from further get hurt, and we tend to become obsessed with being right and good. And furthermore, thereby we can easily move toward excluding those we regard as wrong and evil, even as we also demand “right and good” on others in the same way.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

In this way, we all live in the world of which, in the duality, there is no mind unrelated to “projection,” in fact, there is no distinction as a function of the brain between self and others, everyone is precisely ourselves, and in the non-duality, we are all part of the same only one consciousness (the Self) as oneness.

And here, the important is by surrendering any arrogance of trying to understand the truth with the mind alone, by accepting that there is always a truth far beyond the imagination that the mind can never understand, by humility that there are things that we do not understand now, and by trust that there will come a time when we can understand it in divine timing, and thereby continuing to give ourselves room for possibility. Only then we will all be able to continue to rescue ourselves from the ignorance that comes from the unconscious fear of the mind (ego).

This is so-called “salvation” by God, and as we attune ourselves to the impersonal heart rather than the personal mind (ego), the “second coming” will be able to actually occur within us so to speak.

In this way, the teachings that have been handed down around the world for thousands of years can come to be embodied within each of us as a necessity.

Thus, giving ourselves the “room for possibility” is nothing less than essential for maturation as human beings and for deepening spiritual awakening.

And this “room of possibility” is something that only we can give ourselves by ourselves. (OM 🙏)
