“ONLY IF THERE IS THE EGO.”

The ego never recognizes that it is the ego. It never can for it. On the contrary, the ego, wanting to perceive that it is a good person, would never accept that it is the root of all problems.

In order to recognize this ego as the ego, we must observe ourselves without judgment and with the ego detached, but because the ego itself observes itself (for judging), the ego’s perception is “I am not the ego because I can observe myself” and it never comes to the realization that it is the ego.

The reason for such a strong denial is not so much a conscious denial of the fact, but rather the identification of “I = ego,” which is the base of the self-awareness, which becomes a powerful bulwark and appears as a natural reaction to protect the false self, ego.

At this point, the “I,” My,” or “Mine”perception is very powerful.

Only yourself, and no one else, can transcend this “I” barrier. And the first thing anyone needs for that is complete stillness.

However, even this stillness, the ego unconsciously blocks the circuit that leads to awareness by consideration of that “this is stillness” in noisy mind, so it takes the right timing for everyone to actually become truly in stillness and be able to observe while detaching from the ego.

In other words, it is impossible for someone else to make a person realize that it is the ego.

Actually, however that is why the journey of divine spiritual awakening, in which each of us walks alone, can be born.

Although the perception of the same matter in the dual world of the mind (ego) and the non-dual world of consciousness are different, it can actually say that an invisible wall exists here. But since this invisible wall can only be removed from the inside, so any conflict or suffering in the dual world is unavoidable. However, importantly it is only by savoring these sufferings that we can reach a point where we can open our heart (transcend the invisible wall) and be guided to a more profound world.

For instance, in the dual world, “helping others” is an act of helping others who are in need, but it is actually a compensatory act of saving one’s own projected self, and although there is after all no one else present, it can never be oneness, and at times people even scorn those who seem not to help others or, conversely, to worship those who appear to help others, suffering and strife are created in a way that further contributes to this duality.
Or empathy (empathy-related reactions), which occurs because of the ambiguity of the boundary between self and others, is completely different from oneness, but for the ego, unconsciously performed for the ego to avoid separation and loneliness, and the distinction between self and others disappears, which can also lead a further contributes to the duality, as form of ego denial of facts and exclusions of those who do not understand it, or etc.

Yet, without these sufferings, no one would ever be able to ask ourselves fundamentally, “What is the meaning of this?” or “Who is this ‘I’ anyway?” Furthermore, without asking the fundamental question to ourselves, no one would ever be able to even start self-inquiry.

In other words, when some kind of conflict or suffering is appeared (when we recognize there is), duality is strictly present there (our perception is in the dual world), but actually through that suffering and conflict, our heart can gradually be opened and thereby only then it can become possible for us to transcend the invisible barriers and be led to the profound truths.

There is nothing that we have to accomplish. We have never been, never is, and never will be anything other than God, the only one Consciousness.

All problems arise from the mind (ego) for inevitable inability to see true or the truth, and its stubborn belief in an identification that the mind (ego) is who it is.

Nevertheless, only if there is the ego that is also what allows us to be spiritually awakened.

Whatsoever path for journey of spiritual awakening takes us on, it is all sacred and precious. Please walk present moment cherishingly one by one. (OM 🙏)
