“STAGES OF DEEPENING SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.”

Spiritual awakening goes through several stages of deepening. There are four major stages.

First, the state of complete sleep.
This is when one is completely identified oneself with the mind (ego) and body, and physical survival, safety and security are more important than anything else, on the other hand, one is always feeling fear. In this stage, we are in the conscious of the victim who is at the mercy of events and other people.

Next is the stage of tasting various accomplishments by the willpower of the mind (ego). This is within the dream of the false-self (mind, ego), supported by the illusion that everything is controllable by the mind (ego) and thereby it can be (dualistic) perfection. This is a time when superiority is especially important through “how much I can achieve,” “how many I can get,” “how I can do,” and so on, and therefore others are rivals and one is always ready for battle. During this stage, there is also an increase in attempts to dispel the anxiety of “insufficient” by categorizing oneself.

Next, after glimpsing the truth.
In this stage, although after comprehension of the truth with the heart through oneness or etc, not knowledge, but it is not yet always spiritually awake, and the mind (ego) often falls into the trap (unconsciousness) of the mind (ego) just same as up until then.
Moreover, even though one has glimpsed the truth, what self-acceptance as it is is not yet sufficient, and also because the mind (ego) still tries to be special as usual, sometimes it is under the illusion that it (mind, ego) is fully awakened (self-deception), or it unilaterally tries to teach correct way those who it thinks are not awakened.
Thus, while one is indifferent to one’s own unconsciousness (ego), one is still dissatisfied with others and society, and is often unconsciously obsessive about rightness and specialness because of having glimpsed the truth. This is actually the general way of the unconscious ego to enlarge. Thus, in this stage, we actually go back and forth between the dual and non-dual worlds.
That means, when we are not humble, not with gratefulness (not being able to see ourselves in the other person or not live in oneness), we are actually identified with the ego. Therefore, if we realize this, detach from the ego.

Lastly, the state of being fully spiritual awake.
Only very limited number of people reach this state because of the unconsciousness (ego) which is incorporated into human being of awareness.
In this state, one has no judgment of any kind, because one is always abiding in awareness as a witness of the Consciousness itself, and yet one is completely free from mind (ego). And without striving for accomplish something, one is purely being in a state of beingness as well.

The reason we were born on this earth is actually to reach this final stage, which is our ultimate goal.

Only what is necessary for this to correspondingly happen to each of us.

In other words, one’s world, one’s universe, is always being created necessity for one’s spiritual awakening. It means that one oneself unmistakably attracts it, and also that one’s inner world is reflected as it is. (OM 🙏)
