“THE END OF THE DREAM OF ILLUSION.”

Although ‘foolishness’ is peculiar to the ego, our hearts, as the essence that is part of consciousness itself, merely long to realize that neither the ego nor its ‘foolishness’ is true Self through identification with the ego as the Self.

Mind (ego) regards itself (ego) as stupid, is discouraged by its irredeemable stupidity, and pretends not to notice it, or finds someone more stupid (ego) to criticize, on the contrary, gets criticized, gets cornered and loses its place to go, and so on, and we finally come to the ultimate question, “Who on earth is ‘I’ anyway?”

In the process, we are tossed around by emotional storms, ups and downs, but this is actually the drama of illusion that each of our own ego creates for our own spiritual awakening through various techniques such as interpreting events, projecting the past, and ideas of good or bad.

And by the time we realize that we, as the essence that is part of consciousness, starting from the main character of this drama, all the supporting characters, the planning, scenario, direction, editing, and all the other arrangements for the drama, as well as the audience of the drama, to the Consciousness that is constantly observing all of this, are in fact the ultimate Self, the Consciousness itself, even the ego’s unique ‘foolishness’ will be endearing as a kind of spice that adds ‘profound cleverness’ to our spiritual awakening.

Then we may mutter something like this, “What a cleverly structured, profound drama I have created for whole life! Although I comprehend the mind’s (ego’s) trick by now, but I want to do it all again, even over and over again.”

Thus we forget everything again and start again the hidden spiritual awakening game with glee, as the essence that is part of the Consciousness.

Our hardest times may be when we are, as separated and isolated individuals, thrown into the storm of emotions of self-denial or denial of others, unable to find any fundamental support for existence and even the salvation of life-affirming.

The darkness of complete loneliness or no salvation can sometimes seem too much to handle for us.

However, that is why our mind (ego) try to create new interpretations as well for the ‘now’, to survive the hard time and to reach a spiritual awakening at somewhere in the future.

On the other hand, on the contrary to the superficial recognition at the mind (ego) level, the innermost essence, the heart as the Consciousness itself is observing all of this and is savoring the same ‘time’ now at a level far beyond the physical, mental, and emotional levels.

And the non-dual world, which is far deeper and far more immense than this mind (ego) perceives, always exists deep within, beyond far, far, and far your mind (ego).

To connect with the innermost stillness, it is essential to be relaxed in body and heart.

And rather than trying to connect with the stillness, be aware of your current state of body and heart. Then create an environment in which your body and heart can relax.

And in that way, if you continue to humbly ask sincere questions to the depths of yourself, one day even without realizing it, as inevitability, your innermost stillness will become your most relaxing and dependable place. (OM 🙏)
