“TOTAL FREEDOM”
Wherever our awareness is at the moment, the Consciousness itself is always observing, without any interference, in total freedom, while each part of that consciousness is also making all its choices in the same total freedom.
This means that we are all both observer and observed.
Whether it is the Consciousness itself or a part of consciousness, it is ultimately the same one consciousness, no matter how separated and isolated the mind (ego) perceives it to be.
In other words, it does not matter whether you encounter someone as an individual or whether you are living oneness, literally everything you encounter is yourself.
As the consciousness of the nondual world, it is Oneness, and as the separated and isolated mind (ego) of the dual world, it is still itself in the form of a projection of itself, although it is not aware of it.
And in total freedom, even if we completely transcend the dual world that mind (ego) sees and lives, there’s nothing change in choices, we will always have every choice.
There are no limits to this ‘choice’ at all.
This means that there is actually no right way forward or thing to do as envisioned by the mind (ego) of the dual world, and everything will always continue to be chosen by each of them, always unchangeably under total freedom.
In other words, nothing changes in the world superficially.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
For instance, suppose a person thinks, “People are unhappy because they do not know their true nature, so I will tell them about their true nature so that they can get out of that unhappiness.”Then, of course, unfortunate people who do not know their true nature will continue to appear before that person’s eyes, according to their needs.
Another person, for instance, might think, “I am God, so people should rely on me.” Then, inevitably, people who need such a ‘god’ will continue to gather around that person.
In that way, through this recognition that there are people who need to be helped, this illusion continues to be until you become completely clear that the people in front of you are all yourself. Only when you truly comprehend about it from the bottom of heart, the illusion will lose its power to materialize, and only the truth will be able to appear before your eyes.
The truth is simply that every person in front of you is just in the middle of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenge that are necessary for each of you and all of them are completely yourself.
Until then, the challenge for that person continues, changing form and place, as different types of people in need of help continue to appear, as necessary for the person who has the perception that there are people who need to be helped.
And it is that person oneself who is setting up that challenge.
And of course, the challenge we set up for ourselves is not limited to such perceptions as this “there are people who need to be helped.”
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
This truth that the world remains the same even after transcendence is not hopeless; it is precisely here that total freedom exists, and because of this freedom, there is room for superficial diversity to arise naturally, without any limitations.
The most profound spiritual lesson is ultimately to find oneself in depths of this superficial diversity of people.
And even in the face of this truth, we can surrender any intention to change the outside world and move ultimately toward a state of “doing nothing,” or we can make any other free choice, as we always have.
࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓
There is nothing wrong in the ‘now’ that each of us spins out through the choices we make each time.
When we see something as a problem, it does not mean that there is actually a problem there, but rather that we must ask ourselves “what is it who sees it as a problem?”
And furthermore it means at the same time, that there is always that the choice to continue to pursue the problem as a problem without self-inquiry at all, or the choice to notice and stop trying to change it, or a variety of other choices, will continue to exist unchanged.
It is the mind (ego) of the dual world that sees any one choice as the right choice and the rest as wrong, but from the perspective of the Consciousness, there is none of that.
There is no separated and isolated ‘individual’ anywhere.
And everything continues to be chosen in total freedom.
This means that the more each of us accepts various aspects of ourselves in various levels (the more self-acceptance we gain), the more things we used to think of as ‘problems’ will no longer be ‘problems,’ and at the same time, the more we can simply leave every things to each of the people in front of us.
This is what total freedom is.
