“THE CROSSROADS”

Most people perceive the ego, its body, the mind, or the synthesis of various interpretations of experience by the mind, etc., as the ‘self.’

Therefore, they are proud of how well they control their ego (evil), how well their body keep in good shape, what they have acquired through training, what trials they have gone through, how much status they have obtained, how much they can see around them better than others, and so on.

It is as if they cannot live in peace without such pride, or without acquiring more of such pride.

But these are all illusions.

None of this is true.

All of them are merely playing one of the roles in the drama that the mind envisions, and no matter what the role is, all is just a script of own mind making.

No matter how much you can do, no matter how many experiences you have gone through, all that the mind sees is an illusion, and the moment you truly awaken spiritually, these all disappear in an instant, leaving no trace.

Most people, however, never notice that their perception of ‘self’ itself is not true in the first place, and they keep to live their lives in the void, seeing things with eyes that cannot see, hearing gossip with ears that cannot listen, and keeping to tell baseless stories with mouths that know nothing about the truth.

Most people are told that they will not awaken spiritually in this lifetime.

This is because, even if they are able to notice they are just playing various roles somehow, they find the drama of going up and down, like a roller coaster, a kind of enjoyable at the ego level (mind level).

Certainly, when they are sad or in pain, they may think in their manifest conscious, “I don’t want to live like this anymore,” but they are choosing to return to the world of drama mind creates, in the end, because of the deepest loneliness that they individually feel that is based on illusional separate and isolated, even if they may lament such a choice for themselves.

And therefore, there will be only a handful, who have the courage to face with all their might everything that seems to be their experience, and not to run away from even the most intense emotions.

And furthermore, it is even fewer who are able to transcend such levels of emotions, to much higher dimension.

Because in the midst of such emotional dramas, many choose to find comfortable by rediscovering the seemed love in the name of ‘friend’ or ‘family’ to live, as still separate and isolated individuals instead of foundation they need.

On the other hand, those who truly head into the spiritual awakening never lose sight of the emptiness they feel behind those relationships in the name of ‘friend’ or ‘family.’

However, in order to go further (deepen spiritual awakening), everyone needs to find something certain within oneself that one can trust the deepest than anything one can see or hear, that one is surely being led on a spiritual level.

Because if one has not yet reached full spiritual awakening (if one has not yet broken up away completely from the world of the mind), everyone still has a deep-seated sense of separation and isolation at the mind level, and within that state one must step into the completely unknown, so one must have something one can believe at the innermost that is far beyond the mind level, otherwise no one can go any further.

And thus, as a matter of fact, in the face of various invisible crossroads, there are only few who are truly able to awaken spiritually even still with the deepest fears of individuals who feel separated and isolated.

In other words, in the face of such the various crossroads, eventually most people choose a way to give up on their own spiritual awakening, by finding various reasons for not doing with the level of mind, over and over again. (OM 🙏)
