“Tanden, and the power to face life.”

“Tanden, and the power to face life.”

“TANDEN, AND THE POWER TO FACE LIFE.”

When sitting, sit with your pelvis firmly erect and lower your awareness to your tanden (it’s also called, lower tanden or regular tanden).

When you sit in that way, your back muscles naturally become straight. This will naturally open up the lungs – allowing you to use your entire lungs and breathe with ease. As the breathing becomes natural and relaxed, the mind gradually becomes quieter and quieter as well. This is a state in which it is easy to detach from attachments and so on.

Meditation is effective when started from this state.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

The tanden is not simply the abdomen, but rather the area near the center of the human body, around 3 if the distance between the navel and pubic crest is 5, and around the front of the spine.

When you sit in this way, you should be able to feel the sensation of being rooted to the ground through the center of your body.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

How we use our body changes how our state of being is. The reverse is also true: how our state of being will also change the way we use, face to our body.

It doesn’t matter which comes first.

By sitting with the pelvis erect and the awareness focused on the tanden, the original circulation of energy (it’s not only the body, but the circulation that also includes the earth and even entire outer space) occurs, and energy begins to flow smoothly.

This ultimately creates an opportunity to spontaneously leave from any fears one may unconsciously have, and the energy necessary for anyone to face life itself head-on will naturally flow from within.

This leads to a respect for the body itself, which is consequently able to lead to a deepening of spiritual awakening as well.

The respect for the body means to listen carefully and constantly to the voices of the various parts and to the overall balance of the body so that it can function naturally.

Furthermore, we should be grateful for the body functions and for an opportunity to let us use it, if at least some of them does work.

This is because the body is merely a vessel that is temporarily on loan.

We are allowed to use it temporarily in order to realize our true nature as divine love and ultimately the Consciousness. To fulfill the spiritual awakening that our heart really longing to work on again because we left it unfinished in previous life.

So, for instance, if there is some abnormality in your body now, it does not mean that you are a victim or robbed the life you should have had, but that through this condition, you have before you the opportunity to open your heart further and to come across the ultimate love by getting in touch with your innermost divinity.

When we are in such the purest state of being, we are all able to receive anything, whatever it is, gratefully and wholeheartedly. This is what is called true humility. And this state is our true nature.

There are no victims anywhere, much less perpetrators anywhere.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Please do not misunderstand what it means to respect the body. It is never an obsession with the body.

What the respect for the body is where we can deeply comprehend the body’s natural functions through various changes in the body, it can lead us a precious opportunity to naturally feel gratitude for them, and return to the purest state (divinity), which is our natural state.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

Thus, the truth is that we are constantly being asked from the very essence.

Such as below.

“How do we face the ‘now’ of all?”
