“KNOW THE ESSENCE.”

Through self-inquiry, encountering and knowing one’s true nature steadily frees a person from invisible chains (spells), or illusions created by the mind.

To know one’s true nature is not to categorize or identify oneself with a character, personality, role, position, experience, etc., but to clearly discover within oneself the Consciousness or so-called divinity that is the essence itself.

No matter how much one collects knowledge (concepts) and information, they only satisfy the ego’s thirst for knowledge, but won’t be contributed for comprehension about the essence.

On the contrary, even if one does not know the concept of spiritual essence as the Consciousness itself, for instance, the heart directly grasps the essence through self-inquiry, etc., and comprehends it beyond any verbal expression.

Therefore, without the exploration of what lies far behind the various illusions of self that appear on the surface through careful observation of oneself, without judgment or comparison, and without continued self-inquiry in total silence, no one can even realize what chains (spells) they are tying themselves to.

What this means is that unless one begins one’s own search the depths of oneself, into the innermost self, one will continue to play the role of the drama one has originally set oneself up to spiritually awaken to without being ever able to realize the fact, and one will end up continue to lament the the various negative affairs of the dual world created by the mind.

Thus, in order to continue to exist the mind and the ego, continues to create its own misfortunes, and as a good neighbor, it continues to create poor people who need to be helped.

Whatever phase of spiritual awakening you are in now, there is no mistake or failure.

It is always only the mind or the ego, that find and judge such things, and it has nothing to do with the essence, which is the Consciousness itself.

However, in the process of self-inquiry to know the essence, we have to go beyond the judgmental areas of the mind and ego, which is very harsh and scary for the mind and ego, and we may fail many times. Still, remember that “knowing the essence is not the only goal.”and that “The each process is tremendously valuable, and savoring each one of them will most certainly lead you to the next phase.”

In fact, each time you go beyond your fear on your own, you are indeed being led to true comprehension, to the essence that is the Consciousness itself, by a higher self that is far beyond mind and ego. (OM 🙏)
