“CLEVERNESS OF EGO”

Truths and facts are both difficult and demanding for the ego to accept.

Truths and facts are completely out of touch with reality they believe for the mind and ego, so they are beyond their comprehension, and they also become extremely difficult for the ego to admit them because of the power of the truths and facts to shake foundation of its existence.

On the other hand, for the ego, which always wants to be better, it’s very common that the same truths and facts can be dismissed to accept unconditionally by the awareness that “I understand this truth or the fact totally, so this does not matter to me.”

Such cleverness of the ego in deceiving itself is too numerous to mention.

This fact can also cause for the ego to be treated as an enemy by the same ego.

However this denial is only due to the unconscious ego, and the ego’s hostility to the ego is also only due to the ego’s illusion of wanting to be better.

While it is true there is the cleverness of the ego, it is a natural reaction of the ego, which stubbornly believes in the existence of ‘I,’ to resist truths and facts that could shake the very foundations of its existence.

However, before anything else, this self-awareness, this recognition that the mind and ego are ‘I’ is itself an illusion.

And everything that the separated and isolated ego of ‘I’ perceives is likewise only an illusion.

Our true nature is not the ego that we have to treat as the enemy or do something about, but the Consciousness itself, which is God almighty. And yet all this is happening because we have completely lost the awareness of it.

No, more accurately, this illusion that we have lost that awareness once and for all that is caused to create the further illusion that we have to find it again within.

All of illusions are also the seeds of conflict between people.

But that’s why, on the contrary, where each one of us has completely let go of such illusions and surrendered the inner struggle against the ego, there will inevitably be peace.

It is the separated, isolated, illusory ego that is deceived by the cleverness of the ego. All such experiences are also illusions.

Far beyond any of illusions, your essence remains omniscient and omnipotent, totally unchangeable, eternally present and observing everything.

If this is the truth (actually it’s the truth), where is the need to fight with the ego or feel helpless in the face of the cleverness of ego? (OM 🙏)
