“When you put your energy into your ego.”

“WHEN YOU PUT YOUR ENERGY INTO YOUR EGO.”

When you turn your attention outward, such to who said or did what, you are abandoning the precious ‘now’ and pouring all of your own energy into the ego.
In doing so, the ego gains more and more power, whispering to you about your righteousness and urging you to correct someone’s mistakes, as if that outer matter is more important than anything else.
Thus you believe that that is what you should be doing ‘right now,’ acting unconsciously.

This is what is called ‘the (unconscious ego’s) reaction.’

Your precious ‘now’ is now completely lost, and you are completely obsessed with its greeds within your identification with the ego.

Here is where the ego’s delusion and foolishness and its narrowness of vision are appeared.

The ego, which wants to be right and good, loves the world in its own mind, which is by far more secure and safe that is incomparable, than the uncertainty, change, and unknown of the ‘now.’ And moreover, the power of the ego to remain you within unconscious is more strengthened by your own identification with the ego, and becomes more irresistible powerfully.
Thus, when the energy begins to pour into the ego by turning your attention outward, it becomes difficult for you to consciously leave it, even if you notice the ego’s ‘reaction’ along the way.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

If you are truly awakened spiritually, you will no longer consciously choose to pour energy into the ego.

This is because with true awakening, you have a deep comprehension about the ego’s characteristics, so you will notice even the slightest movement of the ego by constant observation and choose to leave it immediately rather than pouring more of your own energy into it.

In other words, a person who is ‘reacting’ to someone may be spiritually asleep, and pushing forward on one’s own into foolishness and delusion unconsciously, or, if spiritually awake, may be not yet sufficiently used for the constant observation, and when one becomes aware of it, it is already lost timing to leave it.

This is why many people, when they become aware of their unconscious behavior of the ego, consider their ego as an enemy and abhor its existence. Such as “This is not me,” “I can’t take the ego any longer because I must be the Consciousness.”

However, the truth is…

Fortunately or unfortunately, this ‘resistance’ makes the ego stronger and stronger, and makes the person more and more attached to ego’s existence and battle of it.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

That ego can never go away.

No matter what you do or how you do it, no one will ever be able to make it cease.

What we need to do here, even if it is an unconscious act, is to take responsibility for one’s own ego and, above all, accept the ego’s existence unconditionally.

There is no use of excuse here to run away from the truth.

Any excuse is only a justification for the ego, and in the end, it is your own choice.

Your ego will not stop to run amok until you accept the responsibility for it. And, of course, by shirking this responsibility, the time of awakening that may come to you, or the time of deepening awakening, will definitely be far away.

࿓࿓࿓࿓࿓

It is always your choice whether you acknowledge your ego’s existence and accept it as it is, without judgment of any kind, and moreover, whether you pour your own energy into your ego. (OM 🙏)
